3:36 Thats funny, im from Nenets okrug. I thought no one even knew about us... although there was still one interesting case, our region is the only one in Russia who voted against Putin. Why? because he signed a decree on the unification of our district with another region (Arkhangelsk region), which would lead to the impoverishment of the local population and the district’s money would begin to trickle into the pockets of all sorts of unscrupulous guys. It’s not that anyone really hates him, I personally don’t know what thoughts are in his head, but as they say, “if you don’t know personally, don’t judge publicly,” but it’s difficult to treat you well when they treat you like this, after all, we pay taxes, and we work honestly... and it’s hard to understand, here Medvedev says the authorities need to be scolded - and when you start scolding, they say you are against the country and they start telling you how bad you are... it’s probably easier not to open your mouth at all and just do what you think is right, and there won’t be any problems will.

Uralic people were full asian like samoyedic people nenets,, not some white farmer folk. Finnics are only like 20% uralic. Sami half uralic. Samoyed people nenets and enets full true uralic. It's inevitable, it's best to accept that time will change things. We're becoming more international, more connected, more alike, and the borders between countries will begin to blur more and more as we move on. It's best to understand it as natural progression, as we cannot force time backwards. But at the same time, we can appreciate these cultures, pay our respects by learning about them, their way of life, and taking part in cultural activities. The world moves on, but there's still beauty to be found.

You have forgotten the Merya or Merjamaa people. My grandmother, from the east of the Kostroma region of Russia, said that we are their descendants. On my father's side, I am a Little Russian (Ukrainian). I got the impression that in the West there is a distorted view of the life of small nations in Russia. The culture of small nations is an integral part of Russian culture. And Russia is our common, big home. In Russia, the Finno-Ugrians were co-founders of the state, along with the Slavs and Varangians. In the chronicle "The Tale of Bygone Years", the most ancient written source about the history of Russia, among the tribes that called Prince Rurik to rule, along with the Slavic tribes, three Finno-Ugric tribes are mentioned. The fusion of Slavs and Finno-Ugrians took place in our country through cultural interpenetration, interethnic marriages and a common Orthodox faith.
