Magic the Gathering will always have a place in my heart, but I also love exploring new TCGs. I started playing games in college after years of failing at sports and have been addicted ever since.
Pokemon started the craze and addiction - moving me away from baseball cards and into the world of constant organization.

Thanks for the information Louie! It’s great to hear your experience and the various options available to us.
I appreciate you explaining all of the avenues you can go through to sell your cards. You give good advice. Thank you for the video Louie.
Good info. Personally I sell everything under $10(primarily bulk) on my tcgplayer, higher dollar cards to my local lgs’ and eBay for things that I can’t list on tcgplayer like JP tcgs. Also I agree, tcgplayer needs to update their shipping logic/options. It can be frustrating and occasionally painful.
Nice video Louie. Very informative. Thanks.
I've only sold one serialized card on ebay with their grading protections. It went ok, but the fees were prettt high and I wouldnt want to sell lower coat cards on ebay as I think its too easy to get ripped off.
I sell on TCG primarily at level 4, but once in a while I find a card that is way behind on TCG vs Ebay and visa-versa. I love the card scanner even though I have to change half of the versions as I scan. I disagree just a little bit about Ebay taking too long... I just copy another persons listing and I never take pictures of the cards. I just put up a reference picture and the cards sell just fine. You are correct that it takes more time on Ebay... I just don't think its as bad as it sounds.
I use it for sports cards. Very true
Discord and FB is a very good place for international trades as you can usually instruct the seller to send stuff a specific way. I save 25% as a buyer if I find a 300 usd card on discord compared to finding the 300 USD card on Ebay. The seller save 15% and the buyer (me) save 25%. I understand if you are doing nickel and dime trades that you don't want to do discord or FB but on the mid-high range deals it makes sense.
-TCGPlayer for anything under $15 or higher end DMG/HP/MP.
-Ebay for pricier stuff that should have a picture included that you can't move in person
Ebay's also the easiest way to dump stuff that I don't want to sort/inventory(usually $1-$5 Japanese hits), just throw it on a lot w/ a 7 day auction and 2% ad purchase.
I tried them all but what not is the best for me and most successful
I think you gotta have a Pro account to use the quicklist. Which if you're selling tons. Its probably a good idea anyways.
First time in my life I've heard an American say 'Metric Tonne' !!!
Should clarify between TCGPlayer and direct.
Really enjoy your videos. Just to make sure did you say that you do 200+ orders per day with only four staff members? I’m assuming this includes staff members that are running your general operation?
Yeah. 200 might be high on some days low on others a lot of it is just $5 pwe orders.
My staff is amazing.
Well eBay bought TCG player so it will probably all be one system sooner or later
Curious on reliability of eBay authentication- is it a rubber stamp or pretty reliable.
What about dealing with peoples BS on TCGplayer? Returns/bad feedback, etc. I feel like discord or Facebook is best for those higher value cards/collections
Time is money. Take extra turns
Don’t forget you can sell your graded Pokemon, sports cards, magic the gathering it in your GameStop store now
Worthless at the moment IMO
They pay a decent price too. Not like game trades. My store just started accepting graded cards and paid 80-90% for several of mine.
My local gamestop said they only buy graded Pokémon ATM
@@Mexi_MycoYeah. They have to train up the employees and teach them all about spotting fakes. It’s not easy but I think it will be wildly popular long term. Hell, I already buy all my TCG through GS anyways so why not buy/sell graded there too?
@@milesteg8183 yeah I just started pre-ordering at gamestop for magic cards. What I was told was there's no limit lol so I whent crazy on bloom burrow
Cuz they’re all scammers! lol 😂
