    Very clear and extremely helpful explanation for this video as well as the one on ground force reaction.

    Steve, what you are talking about is the definition of what is the meaning of hitting harder.

      @@SteveFurlongerGolfPerformance a follow up question if I may, when you are pressing down with the lead foot is it more a case of pressing hard from the toes rather than slamming the heel down? ATB Paul R.

      The press should be into the balls of the toes, we jump the highest from the forefoot.

    Hey Steve. Great video. What do you need to do in order to spike the verticals earlier?

    • @SteveFurlongerGolfPerformance
      @SteveFurlongerGolfPerformance  Před rokem +3

      Hi Paul, a great question. Its how quick you can ramp the forces up, not how much. The key is faster acceleration. A short fast pump into the ball of the big toe should do the trick, however always best to test it on some plates .

      how does the sequence of this work alongside the recentreing and breaking forces? Ie does this short fast pump happen after the recentering as a way to break the lateral force?

    • @SteveFurlongerGolfPerformance
      @SteveFurlongerGolfPerformance  Před rokem +1

      That would depend on how high the trail foot lateral force was. If there is a lot of lateral motion as a result of a high lateral peak there would definitely need to be some breaking force 👍🏼
