I have an entire set of series 1 of this run that i just found!! I got them when i was a kid and they went from the pack to a binder. I've been looking on eBay and it seems as though i have most of the errors too. They are in really good shape and i have no interest in them any suggestions?? lol
@@j.w.allison4637 Sorry, I didn't get a notification for your comment and just caught it. Unfortunately, none of these cards hold much value ungraded. I would recommend facebook market place. If they're still in the binder, set a high asking price or best offer and see what kind of offers you get. Even taking the most valuable raw copies out of the set wouldn't fetch more than $10-15 on ebay, so facebook market place would be your best bet. I have all these cards. I went through my old collection the other day. Amazing how valuable these cards are now. I have 5 MJs, Shawn kemp rookie, mark Jackson-menendez card, Larry birds all in mint to near mint condition. The 90s NBA cards will never lose value because that was the golden era of the NBA.

I got a few of these cards with the Reggie Miller, Magic & Mike card and Mark Jackson, I liked these since they were simple and clean.
I have the entire 1990 NBA hoops card set my grandmother bought for me when I was young. Just realized about the Mark Jackson Card. Crazy. Gonna keep them forever. Thanks for the content.

yea its funny b/c I havent been into cards since like 1993 until about a month ago I started going through boxes and got back into it then started watching vids to see what expensive cards I should be looking for cuz I have probably 30,000 cards and said to myself im sure there are tons of people I never cared about back then or paid attention to that might have valuable cards and when watching heard about this mark Jackson card and low and behold went through a few binders and boxes and found 6 of them lol ... never heard of the guy or knew the menendez bros were in the background back then. I pretty much treated this card like any other no name common. same with that sam Vincent from this set. found 4 of those also.

Love this video have all these cards because I was one of three brothers that collected cards from vintage to junk wax era. I have one of the Melendez cards at PSA now and four more of those to send.

Man I loved getting packs of cards and boxes as a 90s kid and ripping them open. Then to see the value drop was a huge disappointment lol. It was so fun to have a stack of cards after opening a box. Packs are so expensive now its hard to enjoy the hobby now unless you're willing to spend a ton on 5 cards.

I own around 10 of the Mark Jackson card; stored them in a storage unit without temp control. Among additional jordan's, kemp's, magic's etc. The cards do not hold up in extreme temps. Lesson learned, for sure!
You failed to mention the significance of the Mark Jackson card, and it's the fact the Menendez brothers are actually sitting in the first row.
He did mention the fact that the value of this card was driven by someone else being on the cover.

Just happened to run across this vid decided to bust out my cards and saw that I have a mark jackson card and some other ones on here ,ive had these cards since 89",luckily they was kept at my uncle place while my life was turbulent those younger years ,thank God we made it out

I have a '97-98' fleer Michael Jordan All Star- All defense- League Leader for '97' . Card # 23. This is when he played for Chicago Bulls. It shows him going up for a lay-up with Patrick Ewing behind him.
funny thing is back then I never heard of or cared about mark Jackson or sam Vincent .. low and behold I had 6 Jacksons and 4 Vincents just sitting in boxes and binders I found recently. they never made the "good card box" that I kept with sleeves or top loaders because back then I never heard of them or cared about them and treated them like any other bench warmer no name LOL

I bought 6 boxes (3 series 1 and 3 series 2) last week from a lady on craigslist for 100 bucks .... all factory sealed. ... she had no idea about them and I said i'd give her 100 bucks for all 6 boxes and she took it. she originally wanted 50 bucks per box but I told her she's crazy and no one would ever pay that (totally lying but could tell she had no idea about any of this LOL)

1:16 I have this card. My card (along with the image of this card on Beckett's website) shows a 2 banana bunch on the back of the card. TCDB's image doesn't show the bananas, and none of the eBay listings I see have them. Does anyone know what's up with the bananas?

Wonder how much a misprinted Larry Bird one is? I have a few all printed all crazy from a box bought from Wal-Mart in 1990 as a kid. One his name is spelled wrong, another the machine cut the card weird (or person) etc...

Where do u get your stats? Sam Vincent, for instance is going for between $200-300 per PSA 10 and had gone for up to $500+. Genuinely asking out of curiosity.

I released this video on my Patreon page in early February, so the sales data and pop reports were from late January. I planned on starting this CZcams page in March but had some issues and it got pushed back to April. I really didn't expect for this channel to take off so quick. I only have 2-3 older videos left to release, then every video going forward , the research and data will be within one month of being published. To give an example, for my modern videos like my LaMelo Ball and Anthony Edwards, I released those videos within one week of doing research. @@Latinochino If you or anyone you know has a jeep, there's a hidden gem not to far from you called the Los Coyotes Indian reservation. You take the 78 pretty far east. If you climb some of the highest peaks there, on a clear day you can see downtown SD and the ocean on one side and the Salton sea to the east (or what is left of it) Pretty cool spot and well worth the day trip if you ever make it there bro

what is the best way to check prices of all of my cards
It depends: Are looking for the value of the cards raw? (Ungraded) If so, the best way is to search the card in eBay and filter 'sold' and 'completed sales' This will give you an idea of what the cards are selling for raw. You could also checkout COMC.com (also free) to see what the cards are listed for. Another option is buying a beckett magazine but I don't really recommend this because most cards won't be listed and this will cost you money, compared to using better free resources out there. If your looking for the value graded, let me know. I think it's fantastic that PSA has stopped giving out tens on cards that don't deserve it, because we've all seen PSA tents that were off center or had a dingy corner or something like that... I think AI grading is the future and hopefully PSA switches to AI grading full-time, but that's also why I think hga10 are going to be the standard in the future. It's really crazy to think that PSA and Beckett have the market so sewn up, like what did they do to deserve that??? They were just FrontRunner, so I guess they have a lot more credit than maybe they should but again, we've all seen PSA 10 that don't deserve to be 10
yea dude psa is so wack I dont get why people will only pay top dollar for a psa 10 .. makes no sense. ive seen sooooooooooooo many "psa10" cards that are terribly centered and have dinged corners or white showing etc .... ive found raws for 5 bucks in better condition than the "psa10" ... people are just sheep it seems.

Hey Thomas, I have a pinned comment at the top explaining this. I released this video on Patreon back In Feb 2021, so the research and sales data was from January. I didn't start my CZcams channel until April, when this video was published on here. I've started adding "Pop report & sales data as of...." graphics to my newer videos so there is no confusion in the future. As you know, a lot can change in the market over a few days, let alone 6-7 months. I hope this better explains why the pop reports and sales data is off in this video. It went for $25 shipped. It's worth noting the seller put the starting bid at $20 and shipping at $5 and it received one bid. The best way is to search the card in eBay and filter 'sold' and 'completed sales' This will give you an idea of what the cards are selling for raw. I do want to warn you that this set really doesn't hold much value ungraded. The Mark Jackson card ungraded sales for around $5 on COMC and the Michael Jordan cards start at the $1-3 range each. What exactly is psa?
PSA stands for Professional Sports Authenticator. They authenticate misc sports memorabilia, autographs and cards, along with card grading on a scale of 1 to 10. Hope this helps out and thanks for watching!

I have 2 of the mark Jackson with menendez brothers..haven't had them graded but are definitely mint 10s, haven't been out of box in 30+ years since day opened them..just found em along with duplicates of every card on this list except the Vincent with Jordan pictured. They must've of printed different ones because I have 2 Vicents, same numbers but it's a different picture on front
