To be fair, I don't think a movie could cover it. However, something similar to what marvel is doing would be epic. A series of movies introducing one or several characters leading up to "Overwatch: The Movie" would probably earn them millions if not US billions. The problem with making movies out of blizzard games is there's too much lore to put into an hour and a half or even 4 hours and a half for that matter. They would need many movies to do justice to any of their game universes, even diablo.

This is the tail of the Shamada brothers, Genji and Hanzo. The Shamada family are a ninja, criminal empire. Their father wanted Genji to take a more active roll in their criminal activities but he refused. His father saw him as a liability and forced Hanzo to kill him ( back then they both were swordsman ). Unable to deliver the killing blow Hanzo left Genji to die but Overwatch saved him by giving sweet cybernetics. But Genji was spiritually lost and so, left to the mountains of Napal where he came to turns with what he became. Over the same time Hanzo, in grief for killing his brother abandoned his clan.
You both need to relax, it is not stealing content to show a reaction video. That's like claiming that someone that shows how to beat a boss in dark souls is stealing Dark Souls's content. Think a little, Y'all being ridiculous.

+Magus Overwatch offers way more content than TF2, but TF2 is free. Going by quality, Overwatch is better, but TF2 is comparable in quality without costing a cent and it has had more time to grow and become what it is today. It's obvious that Overwatch will improve just like TF2 has done in it's many years as a game and the updates will be free, and judging them by how they are currently is just idiotic because TF2 has had years to grow while Overwatch isn't even out of beta. When it first released, TF2 was nothing compared to Overwatch's beta, trust me, I've played both. I think Overwatch is far superior if you have the money, but considering TF2 is free and done so much with itself, it's a better game in spirit and deserves more credit than Overwatch, but that still doesn't make it a better game. Also, if you've played TF2 for years like I have, wouldn't trying something new get you excited and super happy rather than angry and defensive? I don't understand what's wrong with you people. Competition is nothing but good for games, and TF2 has done so much without practically any for years. Finally, Overwatch and Battleborn(and Paladins, but no one cares about that one) are not TF2 clones. They have their own separate styles, mechanics, characters, abilities, and much more. Is Doom a clone of Halo? No. Are they similar? Yes. They are both FPS games with an overly powerful and empowered main character that fights wave upon wave and boss after boss of unique, inhuman enemies, collect way too many weapons off the ground, and much more. All those similarities don't make the games clones. Everyone wants to say that Overwatch is a TF2 clone, but that's only because TF2 has had literally no competition for years in a rather specialized genre of "hero shooter". People thought Battleborn and Overwatch were similar as well, and they turned out completely different. Just because they are all hero shooters doesn't make them all copies of each other.
Overwatch was supposed to be a movie but they made it a game because Blizzard needed moneys and games are cheaper and a movie and they make more money.
Well considering it was originally a game called Titan that had to be scraped and they took the pieces from it to make Overwatch, I find this unlikely, however I won't actually say you are wrong because I don't know the actual answer myself.

except this is basically a trailer. they arent selling this video and its just been posted on their youtube. and there have been reaction videos to these shorts for months and i dont think any of them have been taken down. because activision and blizzard do not care since all it is doing is getting their content out to more people

I dont think you understand how youtube works if you are saying he isnt "selling" this video. The trailer was re-uploaded here with little to no commentary and he has monetization turned on (ads) which he in turn makes money off of.

This is the tail of the Shamada brothers, Genji and Hanzo. The Shamada family are a ninja, criminal empire. Their father wanted Genji to take a more active roll in their criminal activities but he refused. His father saw him as a liability and forced Hanzo to kill him ( back then they both were swordsman ). Unable to deliver the killing blow Hanzo left Genji to die but Overwatch saved him by giving sweet cybernetics. But Genji was spiritually lost and so, left to the mountains of Napal where he came to turns with what he became. Over the same time Hanzo, in grief for killing his brother abandoned his clan.
I really want Blizzard to make a series of Overwatch movies. It would be so amazing.

I don't like the way you made this video. You showed the video in it's entirety without much editing, this is legitimately copyright infringement. I would suggest that you would take more time editing this video and focus on your reactions without showing the video in it's entirety. Many animators worked hard on this and you're taking full advantage of this. Try learning these editing styles from channels such as H3H3 and Chadtronic. +Magus Overwatch offers way more content than TF2, but TF2 is free. Going by quality, Overwatch is better, but TF2 is comparable in quality without costing a cent and it has had more time to grow and become what it is today. It's obvious that Overwatch will improve just like TF2 has done in it's many years as a game and the updates will be free, and judging them by how they are currently is just idiotic because TF2 has had years to grow while Overwatch isn't even out of beta. When it first released, TF2 was nothing compared to Overwatch's beta, trust me, I've played both. I think Overwatch is far superior if you have the money, but considering TF2 is free and done so much with itself, it's a better game in spirit and deserves more credit than Overwatch, but that still doesn't make it a better game. Also, if you've played TF2 for years like I have, wouldn't trying something new get you excited and super happy rather than angry and defensive? I don't understand what's wrong with you people. Competition is nothing but good for games, and TF2 has done so much without practically any for years. Finally, Overwatch and Battleborn(and Paladins, but no one cares about that one) are not TF2 clones. They have their own separate styles, mechanics, characters, abilities, and much more. Is Doom a clone of Halo? No. Are they similar? Yes. They are both FPS games with an overly powerful and empowered main character that fights wave upon wave and boss after boss of unique, inhuman enemies, collect way too many weapons off the ground, and much more. All those similarities don't make the games clones. Everyone wants to say that Overwatch is a TF2 clone, but that's only because TF2 has had literally no competition for years in a rather specialized genre of "hero shooter". People thought Battleborn and Overwatch were similar as well, and they turned out completely different. Just because they are all hero shooters doesn't make them all copies of each other.
