Damn, it hurts, because it's not unlike suicidal people to want to live one day freely with no consequences to end their lives on a good note, convincing themselves that they are happy.

i love how some of our heroes are walking around with the blue blood still on them like gary still has alot of it on his hands which rubs off on the money he gives the bartender and andy has just a tiny bit on his cheek, also this film did an incredible job foreshadowing the whole movie with its intro at the AA meeting
I liked this movie a lot because the other two movies in the trilogy are ridiculous action-capers but this one makes you think it’s going to be a more serious, mid life crisis, time-to-grow-up sort of film, but halfway through it just throws that back in your face and says ‘fuck that, genocidal robots coming your way!’

We don't spend much time in The Good Companions, but there are 2 pieces of symbolism in it, first (obviously) they're being good companions, 2nd the sign, one happy mask and 4 sad ones, seems like the main characters
One happy mask that hides the sad character behind it. Four sad masks that only two hide the true characters whereas the other two hide the fate of the soon to be blanked.
