- If you've been looking for a fun SUV, the 2023 Cupra Ateca VZx could be the one for you - in this review you'll find out why.
Emily Agar has spent a week with the 2023 Cupra Ateca - a new SUV from a new brand that is supposedly all about fun and doing things in an edgy way.
Edgy is one way to describe the styling of the Ateca, which looks terrific. But it also has a pretty sharp tool under the bonnet - a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder engine with 221kW of power!
With a five-seat body, decent sized boot, interesting interior design and fun driving dynamics, the Cupra Ateca might be the perfect alternative to a VW Tiguan or Skoda Karoq, which it's related to, or other SUVs that offer similar size and space, like a Kia Seltos GT Line, Mazda CX-5 or Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross.

I’m pretty sure this steering wheel is not in standard
No u dont get cupra bujttons on standard but other then that its same.
Cupra is basically a better performance version of SEAT, for example, the Cupra Ateca is just a sportier and better Seat Ateca
It looks a lot like the Audi Q2 or Q3
Part of the same VW family of tiguans etc.
Skoda Karoq is better value
Karoq is underpowered,
@@TheScalyman 140KW is underpowered? Especially in Australia where the limit on highway is 110km and speed camera on every corner and drivers skills are so weak.

Skoda Karoq styling is boring, like really boring.
@@billgates3452 the Seat Ateca is produced on the same factory as Karoq in the Czech republic and the face lifted Karoq looks good and is more practical.
