- Here’s a basic tutorial for how I cut and shape Spurgeon’s curly hair. I leave more length on top to showcase his natural curl, but taper down to a shorter length at the neckline to give a clean, fresh look.
Jessa’s videos are the bomb cause there is no fluff; no intros, no subscription requests, no ads. Super refreshing in my opinion.

Jessa, Do you all eat canned, frozen & processed food OR do you cook from scratch & use fresh Ingredients?
My husband & I have 4 children & cook healthy fresh food from scratch but as we are both disabled (My husband has A.F & further complex illness. I have a titanium cage, rods & screws in my spine plus I have I.B.S, hypothyroidism etc) So some weeks we go to make fresh but we are in too much pain & end up putting frozen pizzas in the oven or doing burger in a wholemeal bun 🍔 with Crunch Munch Vegetables🍅🥒🌽🌶🥕
Crunch Munch Vegetables go in a sectioned type "Tupperware' circle called a 'Lazy Susan' or 'Party Susan' which has a circle in the middle which I chop up Pink radishes or cubes of Cheddar cheese.
In the 5 large seperate sections is Orange Carrot batons, Green Celery Sticks, Yellow Pepper Fingers, Green Cucumber Sticks & Little Red Cherry Tomatoes which looks so colourful & appetizing 🍅🥕🌽🌶🥒
We have the teenagers so they are pretty good & don't mind cooking/reheating pizzas for themselves.
Start as you mean to go on with kids eating ~ give them vegetables since they are babies like we did & they know no difference. You serve up a healthy meal & say "If you Choose to eat all of your evening meal then you can eat dessert but if YOU choose not to eat your meal then you won't be having dessert ~ it is your choice & you know we would never make you eat your meal as that is your choice but I won't be cooking anything else until the morning"

The tips on how to section off 2 inch wide and hold out the hair out from the head at a 3 to 4 inch taper. And...How to cut ✂️ the neck line and over the ear. Very helpful. Back in the day I use to cut my brothers and my curly hair with a flowbe. It comes with these angled brackets up to 6 in long to make angle haircuts so much easier. Last year I purchased a new one because cutting my hubby hair was getting out of hand because he didn't want to clean the hair up after the cut. It cuts and vacuums the hair at the same time. No mess and a great cut!

2 things......This makes me remember cutting my two boys hair and I love it.
Also having done this myself I recognize the trust that comes from teaching our children to trust us. It doesn't just happen. We have to teach and instruct them and love them like crazy and then they will sit and let us weld sharp objects around their heads and faces. ; )
