when cutting the sides, wont he end with a different length between the overdirect part and the back part?? because unless you cut the back part to match the length from the back to the hear to the temple, he will have kind of a weid moment going on
or in other case, get rid of the extra lenght when cross checking, but you would get rid of the work done there if you're going for a bit more shorter cut
