Bringing the one ring is a good counter against the Balrog, Isildur is great against the Balrog, even if you just shield with isildur and a num warrior you're likely to stop the balrog for as long as the whole game, but Isildur can also gradually do damage to him. double handed strikes with a trap on the balrog will do damage
The best counter to the Balrog is just to kill the army. Even against Depths of Moria, the best bet is to go for the goblins first, then overwhelm the Balrog. In this game, Gwaihir could have kept the Balrog busy for ages while Dain smashed the army.
Why did the Dwarves back up to the board edge? I think the Eagles were underplayed. Just my opinion. Thanks for the batrep. Great content. See you next time guys!
@@muesliman100 I'm a rookie player but, I think I would have brought them out to either end of the combat line and try to attack from either side. I don't know I'm new to the game but that's what I think. I don't know how to play them but, that's what my rookie status would have tried. Thanks for the question. Let me know what you think about what I think. lol
It didn't help that the Balrog rolled a 6 every combat and then when the Dwarves matched it the Balrog won the roll off 3 times in a row, that kinda sealed the game...
Incredibly tough breaks on the balrog rolling the six and winning the roll off every time it mattered.
Great bat rep guys!

Man u guys i really enjoy your videos , keep em coming !
Great batrep guys, well done. Just wondering where you got your dice tray from?
The dice tray was from Etsy

I think it was to help prevent the goblins from getting behind the dwarves and getting off easy traps

What would you have done differently with the Eagles?
