I noticed that the corrupted characters sometimes freeze for a measly second on their idle animation, as if they're really glitching, such an awesome detail.
I love the detail of some personality in the characters. For example, I like how BF stands his ground but clearly isn’t very comfortable with how he has to “fight” these things. Pibby clearly wants to leave, but doesn’t want to leave BF behind like the others. The sounds of Finn’s audio sound more panicked, loud, and pained- like he’s fighting. Then there’s Jake, who sounds more dull and exhausted, as if he’s done trying. Really cool mod!
Jesus, nobodys talking about when steven tries to warn bf and says "this isn't a game", loses control, and then the pibby corruption just mimics his words like its a sick joke

Gosh the losing icon for Steven is so eerie, as if due to him having more power than any other show character he has much more control, yet the corruption being as powerful as it is and being mostly all over his body he still sees what he is doing, thus leading him to tears.

I have my own personal theory about this mod. I noticed in the Finn and Jake week, Jake's arrows are completely black, while Finns are still normal, which leads me to believe that Finn hasn't been completely taken over or is still fighting, which could mean there's a chance to save him.
Yeah, you cant even tell hes corrupted escept by the figertips of his hand, and his eyes, and (barely) whenever he moves. But he's still corrupted enough to ATTEMPT TO SLICE US 5 TIMES A SECOND
I like that Finn’s down pose doesn’t move that much, it’s pretty much his idle slightly down, and it surprisingly fits when he starts singing in Glitched Duo, since people would be confused on why Jake wasn’t singing until they realize Finn is aware in the position he’s in, he can fight along with Jake.
This mod is nothing short of terrifying. This may be just me, but I grew up watching these characters, they are my childhood. So that just makes it that much creepier to see them corrupted to this state. The art is awesome, the songs are awesome, and I love it all. The idea of Nostalgic Fear is quite new, so I would like to see what happens to the rest of this.

i think it’s really cool how the creators included plenty of homages to different mods :D i really like the detail with jake’s up sprite being clearly inspired by that of gold’s, which also makes sense considering a portion of spinel’s song is taken directly from monochrome :DDD great mod imo!

Well luckily, despite the fact that Jake has his own elastic sword upon his left animation, it's great how he doesn't actually attack with it. It's when Finn gets his sword out when you know he's got some words to say.
More fun fact: In those frames you can see a shot of semi Corrupted BF, one with his smile and shaded eyes and one with a surprised whole eyed expression but no visibly mouth, almost as if he’s in pain, before he freaks out and snaps back and shakes the residue off.
I like how creators made a lot of Monochrome Easter eggs such as Spinel's song and Jake's up sprite, very cool! I also think that the Pre-Last song in the Finn & Jake week was the Best, especially the duet parts and the long note parts! In the Steven week I like the "Get it!" parts
I liked the older Finn style, he was more sporadic and unhinged looking, his body contorting into uncomfortable positions, the new one looks like Finn but with the glitch effects It's obvious spinels bar sprite is just an image of spinel from the show but cropped and glitchy. The rest of this mod is fantastic, I hope they do more with this cause there are SO many possibilities now open.

As far as you're concerned however, he's the only one active tonight. He should leave you alone after 1 ir 2 swings, 3 if he feels a bit daring 😈. No, I seriously need you to be careful. If you were to end up like them, I dont what'd I do. Talk to you tommorow."

I realized jakes animations reference a lot of horror based things. his down is the lost silver down animation, and I think his right is referencing the mandala catalog. Jake clearly has an analog horror vibe to his animations.
It's really horrifying just to see my childhood be shattered in a moment of seeing Finn and Jake to look demonic and suffering from the corruption. Specially Jake, with him looking like he's reaching for help, trying to escape.
For a glitch covered shoggoth, it certainly knows how to make corrupted characters drop quite a list of banger tracks. That aside, one has to wonder if the victims are still themselves buried within that mass of black and colored pixels, or if they are simply gone gone, and the glitch is doing it to mock the survivors. Or it is simply doing what it does out of indifference, and doesn't understand what is going on.... or maybe both
I think they're _gone gone_ , it's only taking their memories and attributes and re-using lines they've said in their memories to mock the survivors and use 'what they used to be' against them, otherwise wiping them of whoever they used to be clean.
Mordecai's song had no right to go that hard, but I guess it makes sense since he only has one song, and there's no one else there with him, even as potential victims.
I have a theory, if the characters get corrupted there’s a certain amount of corruption on them like Finn, he only has some on his finger so that means since he’s a human and only 13 (in the series) he’s easy to corrupt, but like Steven he needs a lot so he can stay somewhat corrupted, bc if there’s only a little bit he can easily break out, but that also includes the fact how strong they really are and how much they can fight.(mentally fight to break out physical)
I have a few questions about this really sick mod: 1.Assuming Pibby never solves this "corruption" problem (how would she do that anyway?), do you think bf would try and stop it? 2. What if others like Nintendo or Disney are next? 3. Do you think singing is affecting/fixing the corruption? 4. Is being corrputed like not being vaccinated? As in you're basically dead. Final question (very important to lore of corruption: Did the corruption start with that one episode from "Gumball" featuring Rob? if you can answer any of these, that'd be cool.
You know what would be interesting if there was a crossover between smash Bros kingdom hearts and come learn with pibby as Kirby Sora and Pibby have to save all the Nintendo Disney and cartoon network characters from Galeem Darkhon Xehanort and the glitch
It's impressive that just the concept of Pibby sparked a new subgenre of FNF mods, hope there are more to come. Also I noticed that WhittyxCarol sketch on the Whiteboard, cute !!
As someone who still binge-watches SU, I'm obviously in love with the Steven Universe part of the mod. Although, I love all of the art for all the characters, but definitely my favourite mod.
I just love that despite the chaos that is the corruption, nearly all the songs are evenly charted. It’s like the corrupted characters are toying with him. Either that or they want this mod in things like Funky Friday, but that’s just probably unlikely, though I’d love for it to be in Funky Friday. :3
Oh my god, that "Here we are in the future" was just REALLY cool. I watched Steven Universe 2 months ago to the end, so i remember that. Also, it fits the meaning.

at 19:51 we hear a snip of Red's theme from Pokemon Gold Silver and Crystal and at 21:14 we hear part of Monochrome from the Hypno's Lulaby mod, very interesting!
I loved glitched gem but it also sounded kinda sad, especially when Steven said here we are in the future with the bells or some other instrument in the back with the lights just added to the sadness but epicness of the song, actually all of the “here we are in the future” leitmotifs made the song sadder

Something I wish they had done in this mod, was change BFs sprites as you went farther along, slowly getting more and more run ragged as time progresses
My favorite characters ... corrupted by "broadcast shutdown." In my opinion I like it but ... not as much as the previous one that imitated the modeling of the characters, here they are more terrifying and different to their design, but even so it adds variety and that earns extra points.
Bro I freaking LOVE Overworked. They actually made a full version of somebody's song concept for corrupted Mordecai and it sounds so good! Hopefully in the full version we will see some new cartoon characters, as well as some more songs for Mordecai.
Jake's up animation in _Brotherly Bond_ is a reference from _Monochrome_ from the _Hypno's Lullaby_ mod. I also have a theory that their eyes are all blacked out so they can't see what they are doing.
its so depressing to see my childhood shattered in all of these, but the part that mainly hurt was seeing lion staring at what his best friend has become
This mods awesome!! Between the new art, songs, and backgrounds, this mods very easily made the top 10 of mine. Especially with the Change and Overworked Songs My only issue with this one would be, 1) Pibby doesnt darken with the background like BF does 2) The mod focuses really heavily on Adventure Time, while all the other Cartoon Network shows get little appearance time. Mordecai only has the one song, and Steven Universe gets three, but between Finn, Jake, and PB, they have *7* songs. I like Adventure Time, but i’d also like to see a bit more of other characters, so they arent lurking in the shadows of Finn :3 Other than that, this mod gets a solid 10/10 for me!

For a glitch covered shoggoth, it certainly knows how to make corrupted characters drop quite a list of banger tracks.
That aside, one has to wonder if the victims are still themselves buried within that mass of black and colored pixels, or if they are simply gone gone, and the glitch is doing it to mock the survivors. Or it is simply doing what it does out of indifference, and doesn't understand what is going on.... or maybe both

I think they're _gone gone_ , it's only taking their memories and attributes and re-using lines they've said in their memories to mock the survivors and use 'what they used to be' against them, otherwise wiping them of whoever they used to be clean.

I have a theory, if the characters get corrupted there’s a certain amount of corruption on them like Finn, he only has some on his finger so that means since he’s a human and only 13 (in the series) he’s easy to corrupt, but like Steven he needs a lot so he can stay somewhat corrupted, bc if there’s only a little bit he can easily break out, but that also includes the fact how strong they really are and how much they can fight.(mentally fight to break out physical)

As someone who still binge-watches SU, I'm obviously in love with the Steven Universe part of the mod. Although, I love all of the art for all the characters, but definitely my favourite mod.
I just love that despite the chaos that is the corruption, nearly all the songs are evenly charted. It’s like the corrupted characters are toying with him.
Either that or they want this mod in things like Funky Friday, but that’s just probably unlikely, though I’d love for it to be in Funky Friday. :3

In my opinion I like it but ... not as much as the previous one that imitated the modeling of the characters, here they are more terrifying and different to their design, but even so it adds variety and that earns extra points.

Between the new art, songs, and backgrounds, this mods very easily made the top 10 of mine. Especially with the Change and Overworked Songs
My only issue with this one would be,
1) Pibby doesnt darken with the background like BF does
2) The mod focuses really heavily on Adventure Time, while all the other Cartoon Network shows get little appearance time. Mordecai only has the one song, and Steven Universe gets three, but between Finn, Jake, and PB, they have *7* songs. I like Adventure Time, but i’d also like to see a bit more of other characters, so they arent lurking in the shadows of Finn :3
Other than that, this mod gets a solid 10/10 for me!
