They are now, but we still don't know when Grey's is gonna end. The main characters aren't going anywhere yet. Maybe until Ellen Pompeo finally decides to leave, or Shonda doesn't have anything to do with the show anymore, then that's it! Until then, we've got Grey's for another season.

you guys are friggin weird man, lexie's death was sooo bad, ok mark stays with her and stuff confess he loves her etc etc. but what about meredith??? she loves her sister so much and i expect smthing more like a sister bond that would make me tear up instead of meredith founding her after she died and cried for like a sec. and george death was so intense may i say, everything is so intense, the music, how they tried their best to save george along with trying to recover izzy from her coma or smthing. That episode when george and izzy about to die is one of the best episode ever!
I personally didn't think George's death was very emotional. The one part that got me was when he wrote "007" in Mer's hand but that's about it. Lexi's death was devastating ;c
I didn't think anything when the "John Doe" stuff was happening but when it turned out to be George I actually burst out laughing, the only part of the whole thing that got to me was Callie's reaction to his death. I haven't gotten to Lexie's death yet but I know it's coming up soon for me.
Ranga3595 i finished season 8 today and i already knew that this is the episode of the plane crash and everything but i was still broken and it was so so so sad!! i cried so hard and Lexie was my favourite♡ i'm just saying it doesn't matter how much you're going to prepare yourself, it will still be extremely sad and heartbreaking! i tried to start season 9 right after i finished that episode but i couldn't... there were new people and it was hard.. i love this show but it's gonna be hard to move on from Lexie and i know mark is also going to die so i just hate this show😭😭

Here I am watching Chyler Leigh interviews after watching for the 5th time her death scene in Grey’s Anatomy 😭 I can’t ! Like why did she have to die? Why did she didn’t get the chance to live her happy love story with Mark?? I mean they were MEANT TO BE ! It just just didn’t make sense !!
Cha aa shonda killed them off rather than them just leaving, 1 because she was in the middle of residency and she really couldnt just leave. 2 because then fans would be asking and asking for chyler and eric to come back like people do for jessica and sarah and sara and many others, especially because lexie and mark were favorites to lots of people. i kinda wish they woulda been in a relationship before they died instead of ending them like lexie saying she loves him and him not having time to think and say it back before she died. but rip mark and lexie. its unfortunate they had to die so tragically.
