In today's mario video we are going to look at the origin, secrets, timeline, story, lore, mysteries and history of the bosses seen in the #supermario games made by nintendo. Throughout the years there have been a lot mario games like super mario world, super mario 64, super mario sunshine, new super mario bros, new super mario galaxy, super mario 3d land, super mario 3d world, super mario run, super mario bros 3 and not too long ago they released the new super Mario odyssey for the nintendo switch which has all kinds of new characters like cappy and locations like the sand kingdom, new donk city and bowsers kingdom. In these games we have seen power ups like the fire flower, ice flower, super mushroom, mega mushroom, super star, hammer suit, spring mushroom and way more. But there were power ups that helped mario, luigi, toad, princess peach, rosalina and the others to escape bowser, the broodals, koopalings and bowser jr. It's probably something similar to Flash and Reverse Flash.
Maybe Wario and Waluigi aren't their actual names but that's how they refer to themselves because they took their rivalry with the brothers very seriously and consider themselves to be the superior brothers.
Come to think about it, one of their character traits is to be flanderized versions of Mario and Luigi.
Maybe they tried saving the Mushroom Kingdom once but failed in a humiliating way while Mario and Luigi save the day constantly and get all the glory.

That sounds like a good idea for a game. Wario and Waluigi try to save the princess so everyone would love them. So they race against Mario and Luigi to see who can save the princess first.
There is official artwork of Luigi and Waluigi teaming up to beat tails and silver from the mario and sonic at the olympic games. So it’s actually canon that Luigi and Waluigi teamed up at some point, the motive being… idk to display physical prowess? Both of them like sports a lot so I can see that as being the only commonality they share.

I've heard mixed answer about Waluigi one his first appearances was Mario Party 3, the other being Mario Tennis.
Waluigi needs his own game. Mario, Luigi, Wario, Peach, Yoshi, etc have their own games. Why not him?

Apparently Wario was sad that he didnt have a brother, so he found a guy named Jimmy Popadopolos and he became Waluigi

Indeed some trivia, Waluigi and Wario take some inspiration from, the trope of the terrible trio.
Nintendo did have a plan to make 3 evil versions: 1 of Mario, 1 of luigi and 1 of the princesses but only did make the trio a duo.
The Skull Trio from Time Bokan 1960 anime, along with their Expies in the other Time Bokan series, most notably Yatterman. Each Time Bokan show centered around mostly unrelated heroes who travel the world, and occasionally time and space. They are always antagonized by a trio of incompetent villains, who are technically different characters in each series, but look and act so similar that sometimes it's hard to tell the gangs from different series apart. Like the Doronbo Gang from Yatterman.
Every anime example on this list, from the Team Rocket trio to the Grandis Gang, was inspired by them. Sometimes they're also implied to be Animated Actors, that is, the same characters playing different parts. It helps that they were voiced by the same seiyuu for more than 20 years!
Fun fact the villain Boyakky, is the one that Waluigi was inspired by (and he was inspirade by Wacky Races villain Dick Dastardly).
There *IS* a "terrible trio"; in "Super Mario RPG", *Boshi* was originally called "Wassy" in Japan, just as "Yoshi was Yossy. Warui + Yoshi = Boshi.

To truly comprehend the progenitors of Wario and Waluigi, you have to go back to 1975 and the Tatsunoko animated series "Time Bokan" which spawned a franchise. The villains formed a trio consisting of an attractive woman leader, the skinny mechanic, and the stout muscular guy. In "Time Bokan" the two henchmen were Walsa and Grocky. However in the next more well known spinoff "Yatterman" the designs were changed slightly and were named Boyacky and Tonzura. This formula continued throughout the rest of the spinoffs. Only in "Yattodetaman" (1981) were the designs of the henchmen greatly altered.
Maybe Wario tried to steal some treasure from Sarasha Land and met Waluigi along the way? Maybe Waluigi was trying to win Daisy's heart by stopping Wario, only for them to realise how similar they are and team up. Seems workable.
And seeing them both as the main antagonists of a hypothetical Super Mario Odyssey 2 would be swell.

In Mario and Sonic at the London Olympic games, it asked the relationship of Wario and Waluigi, the correct answer was friends out of one of the four answers.
Wario and Waluigi ARE brothers, but have no way of knowing; you can see this in the end cinematics for the DS sequel to "Yoshi's Island". Baby Wario stays in that other land to go treasure hunting. Furthermore, their father is Foreman Spike; Waluigi follows in the family business while Wario is a farmer (pet hen in Wario Land 2).

Yoshi's Island DS simply dives into Wario's past, showcasing that he is a star child as well as showing how he met Mario for the first time.

In my opinion, I think it's more likely that Waluigi is actually a distorted clone of Luigi that Wario created using dark magic. And I also think that Bowser Jr. doesn't have a mother, and that he is also a clone that Bowser created of himself using similar dark magic.
I heard a theory that Waluigi is Foreman Spike's son, and the evidence is pretty solid. He has the nose, pointy ears, construction history, and hatred towards all things Italian plumbers to match. His song in DDR Mario Mix is even a remix of the Wrecking Crew theme.
I don't think daisy will ever accepted waluigi because last I saw her in a comic waluigi is not her type. And not to mention she's more of sporty type of girl to say the least. And daisy find It cute for luigi

But imagine a 2D Mario game with Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, & Toad as playable characters while Wario, Waluigi, Captain Syrup and Nabbit are the main antagonists of the game with Bowser as the secret boss, and Princess Daisy as an unlockable character. For me, at least in my own headcanon Waluigi really is Wario's brother. Because I found it hard to believe that they are not related by blood, and at the same time having a very similar eyes, noses, ears and mustache styles. I think Waluigi was one of the few babies that Kamek didn't manage to kidnap, just like with the case of baby Daisy and baby Rosalina, only managing to kidnap his brother, Wario.

I have a insane headcannon of how Waluigi is someone who’s literally and magically hated by everyone and everything the moment he’s born, but the people of the Mushroom Kingdom resisted it, but only partially. (Daisy openly hate him, Wario kinda likes him, and the others are either just trying to be nice to him out of the goodness of their hearts, out of pity/sympathy, or only tolerate him since he’s rarely a menace like Bowser)
And also, I find it funny that the internet seems to be far more desperate for Waluigi to be in Smash Bros, than Waluigi himself. I think Waluigi can wait, but the internet is literally and physically pushing and shoving him into it.

I think the next character you should look up the origin on is the koopalings. If bowser is male, how would he have children? Did he adopt them? Or did kamek magic them up for him? Or maybe there was once a Ms bowser? This is a question I have worked on for a while, but I have never found the answer.
