Also if you've read all of mushoku tensei (web novel) as well as rise of the shield hero story more. Then a what if idea would be if rudeus was summoned along side the four cardinal heroes as the new staff hero (staff hero is more accurate to call the magic hero since it relies on magic) it would fit really well I think. Also it can provide more in depth of the characters around.
I've read some of the lite novel but alot of people rely on me not to do too many spoilers so for now I won't be reading much more until season 2 comes out

what if Deku had Opposite Manipulation. This would work through Izuku knowing the quirk and copying it to alternate it's characteristics. (This would mean that Deku can't copy and change OFA because he doesn't know what it is and he can't change AFO because the opposite would be.... well nothing)
For Example: instead of ice shards like Shoto, It could be a Blazing heat shard. Or a extremely dangerous thermal mist. And instead of Uravity decreasing gravity, he can increase it on things he touches. And similar to Shigaraki instead of making things Or people decay/rott, he could strengthen objects, and people temporarily
This is a my original Fan Quirk I've thought of as far as I know since I haven't seen anyone else attempt this.These are the ideas I've thought of so far but there is endless possibilities and potential.

If you do this you can add your own twists to make this more interesting

Weapon progression is always a contentious issue with these what-if scenarios. So here's my take.
While I'd expect Naofumi to have the knowledge to instruct someone on how to build crude firearms, I'd rather just circumvent that matter entirely by saying it should not be expected for someone summoned into a medieval fantasy world to be capable of consistently acquiring new firearms if they themselves are not a gunsmith.
As for how Naofumi would actually upgrade his guns if he can't just integrate new firearms? Well that one is simple: kills. In addition to the usual XP leveling system, Naofumi's guns develop through killing enemies, or rather, _how_ he kills them. Think of it like killstreaks or achievements in modern shooters that reward the player for their approach to gameplay.
So to give a hypothetical chain of progression, let's say that Naofumi starts with a flintlock; one shot, then he has to wait for the pistol to reload itself, cock back the hammer himself, and fire. As he continues using this weapon, the reload time gradually decreases until he can fire the flintlock several times a minute. Then, once he actually levels up, it starts developing, turning into a pepperbox with rotating barrels that can be fired in quick succession, although each barrel has the same reload time as the flintlock. As he tries to develop the pepperbox, he notices two side paths to his upgrade tree that haven't filled out yet but still have progress. Eventually he unlocks one of the two side options, figuring out that the prerequisite was the range of the kill; short range for a blunderbuss and long range for a musket. Pepperbox turns into a revolver, blunderbuss becomes a shotgun, musket becomes a rifle, and so on.
Another point of contention would be the ammunition, but I think I've gone on long enough without having to brainstorm where, how, and what kind of ammo Naofumi has access to.
