    What Mou is doing at Roma right now is confirming what the 7 minute 'rant' is about. Taking over a side which lost its mojo, not winning a trophy since last 10-15 years, a side in shambles since De Rossi and Totti left. Winning the conference league and now in the hunt for a top4 finish in the SerieA and Europa league glory. A reflection of how management jobs at different clubs have different level of expectations and goals. For me, Mou will always be one of the best ever in the game, his ability to take on unconventional management positions despite having a stellar CV is remarkable.

      He’s a clever man, an honest man. A genius among the greatest managers for his management of not just his team but what players to utilise in certain roles and positions with reasoning behind it. He’s a proud man as others are, however he has a right to be. He knows what he wants from the team and how to get it with the current and the incoming players. Unfortunately, regarding clubs like Chelsea, United, that isn’t always what the board wants, especially if players are being hypocritical and cowardly. A true shame how he has been treated.

    As a Chelsea fan it was sad to see jose go the way he did bcos I loved him as a manager. I think during the second season during the second spell with Chelsea after a game against Swansea he stopped a physio (Eva carneiro) from being allowed to go to any other matches alongside the rest of the team. Apparently the team was very close with Eva and I believe the players wanted jose out. It was a clear display of Player Power that season and in the end the players got what they wanted. I would love to see Jose come back one last time but after him going to Spurs I don't think that the fans will accept him back, but I believe that during that season Jose was targeted both by the players and by some fans who blamed him for our terrible results.

    • @manunited7882
      @manunited7882 Před 4 lety +18

      thank you! Some Chelsea fans even blame him today for Mo salah and KDB when he had nothing to do with it. Fuck these people weren't even complaining back then, until those two became superstars. It's like they'd rather Jose gave up winning the league titles and developed the youth instead.

    • @Aerojet01

      @Oh and Gerrard slipped During Jose's first spell at Chelsea, he was full of energy, drive, passion and charisma, and it filtered down to the team and the fans picked up on it. There was a buzz at Stanford Bridge. He created a winning mentality. In his second term, he was full of excuses, blaming referees and full of negativity. He looked a miserable man, which isn't good for the dressing room. I never really liked Eva carneiro. She was stealing the limelight and trying to promote a celebrity image for herself. Doctors and physios are background staff, and can easily be replaced. Where is she now? Players throwing away games in protest, sums up the state of modern football.

      Jose was wrong for criticising Eva but it's very weak mentality for players to choose Eva over Jose. They are their to win trophies not be a knight in shining armour. She can get a job elsewhere but now we'll never know what Jose could have built at Chelsea.

    • @solomonkizindo7928
      @solomonkizindo7928 Před 4 lety +6

      jose's treatment of eva was way unprofessional and it seems to me like he had something personal against her. eva is a doctor, she has an oath to save anyone in a health crisis and it's the game's rule that whenever the referee makes a call the doctor must go irrespective of the coach's wish. when the doctor enters the pitch the player treated must be taken out temporarily. now was sacking eva the ultimate solution to what happened? for those who do not know should try to find injury records during eva's time as the club doctor.
      about selling players; he was wrong selling mata, the clubs player of the year for two consecutive seasons and considering what he was capable of doing. he was wrong selling de bruyne cause he had shown what he can do. he sold them because they are not good defensively. letting salah was ok because at that time there were other guys ahead of him.
      we love him because of what he has done but he had to go not because of the mistakes but it's a fact he has nothing new to offer

    One of the best managers of all time. I don't support Chelsea but this guy arguably changed the standards for the whole Premier League. We think it's normal now for teams to end up with 95 points or more, but it was Mourinho that was the first to do this in the premier League. He turned Chelsea into an almost unbeatable team. Their defence in 2004/05 was insane - they let in just 15 goals all season. This defence was that good, it's argued that it's a record that might never be beaten. In that same season they finished with 95 points.
