The new Jeep Gladiator is the truck none of us Jeep Truck guys wanted.
My friend just sent me the link to this channel and at first i was hesitant because all the videos are about the new cars and trucks but then i saw a comanche. My dad owns an '87 comanche and it is his pride and joy.
I still can’t get over that rush of nostalgia listening to Hot Action Cop
Looks nice ALREADY! Rip The old Comanches 1947-1992 :(
Buying a 1988 comanche eliminator tomorrow. Beautiful truck. I'm so excited. 150,000 miles. Not too bad for the year and still pretty fresh for the 4.0.
Looking for an 85 to restore when I’ve got money
My grandpa had one and he wanted to restore it before he got sick and had to sell it I want to do it in his memory
I like that you are fixing it up I’m just anti chrome
Good job keep these gems rollin
I love the new parts that were put in
These trucks are cool, and something different
I'm restoring an 87 jeep comanche with 87,00 miles. she coming out great i get a lot of attention i love it!! . I love showing my pics. The sports bar is what I need next and a lifts .
I'm about to purchase a 1986 Comanche Custom 4x4. This video is helpful for a beginner restorer like me. 👍
Nice set of wheels!!! congrats..
Awesome!
Love it man! Good narration.
Nice truck, and good restoration work, looks great.
Nice looks cool
Well done man, it looks awesome. I would have done the exact same thing
..... I have a home in Sequoia National Forest in central Calif... I traded my '99 Cherokee 4X4 for my '88 Comanche 4X4, 5 Spd manual, long bed ... Found a very nice excellent fit shell that's about 1 1/2 foot taller than the cab roof top... I'm surrounded by mountains and only takes a few minutes and I'm on dirt fire trails ... Takes me anywhere I want to go, until I chicken out (ha-ha)... I always get thumbs up, and 'hey is that for sale?' .....
That's a good lookin Jeep. I had an '88 Comanche Eliminator I bought new ($10,400 out the door). It was a BIG bang for the buck. Put 178,000 miles on her before the slave cylinder went. No major issues other than that. Sold it 5 years after buying with 218,000 miles on her. Now I'm sorry I did. I keep lookin for suitable project to exactly what you're doing. Looks like you found a good one. Good luck. I'll be following along.
The jeep comanche! I have one, inline six with only 44K miles, absolutely new!
I got one too with 120k with black leather seats 😁 looks brand new brought it for 1800$
Merry Christmas
The one thing I like about this channel, is this guy lives in Ohio, I like up in north eastern Ohio, so i feel the rust issues XD
I’m doing this to a Cherokee. Did the new chrome bumper come with the holes for the fog lights? Thanks!!
Where did you source the parts from?
Just look at cherokee parts
Trying to restore one myself wondering where you get the parts?
I know I’m a couple years late but have you tried rock auto.
I love that restoring it to it's former glory. I remember the commercials as a kid and wanting one. I want to restore one myself however I want to do a total tactical build. Either way it's great you're bringing glory to a great vehicle.
Love your work on your comanche! What is brand of grill and headlamp Trim? The same for the fog lamps? Im starting to restore a 1988 Cherokee Laredo, and would love to do the same on a comanche in the future.
Are you gonna do anymore restore projects cause I’m interested in these
More videos!!
Do you happen to know if they have the bottom bracket for the mirrors to or only the top part ?
Where did you get the headlight bezels and front grill?
4.5 Lift kit and big tires 33s or 35 + whinch bumper.
I think you can put in a new front window but thats just me it may be in good shape
Can you tell me if the top bracket on the mirrors should move or can be tightened? Picked up a set and one of the top brackets moves.
O reilys has those k sources mirrors
Will there be a part 2?
Where can I order these parts? I have an 88' Comanche and needs some work
That's one beautiful Comanche!
I saw one at a car lot in my home town. It's a 90 they want $16600 for it. Sadly I don't have the money for it. 😭
Just bought a 91 that needs some love parts are impossible to find
Plse let me know the site where u found the mirrors
Hey, subscribed!
Have ANY parts left over? If so I can deal! I'll take anything Jeep related, definitely the old steelies! I do XJ bodied Jeep restorations so can use anything you have!!
You need a black bigger wheels/rims and put higer suspension +-change seats
Absolutely not
The only thing chrome looks good on (Vehicle wise) is old style restorations like this.
Fuckin dope
My uncle had one and he drove it until the frame snapped😂
why did you put the new grill upside down?
Where did guy buy the parts from? Looks awesome!
Yeah. Had experience with that. Not fun!
Where did u get the grille from
Put a jeep sticker or it's name on the outside or inside
What trim package is the Comanche. I just got the same truck and I cant figure out the trim
Go to Comancheclub.com and register on their forum. Find the Comanche registry thread and post your VIN. Theyre really cool dudes and someone will run your VIN and give you the build sheet.
My dad got this jeep black colour
The black grill is mounted upside down! It was a common mistake.
Where did you get the parts?
NFS:Hot Pursuit 2 lol
Who tf gave this video a thumbs down
Why do everyone have the grill the wrong way lol
You will not have the complete lock on the back door of the Cheroke 87, I would be very grateful if you sold it to me. I am from Peru and I am restoring my friend of the soul that is my jeep. thanks.
“Maybe they’ll bring back the kamanche.” LOL. Do you guys think it was a success?
your side mirrors are not original
