  • On this week's Driveway Rescue, Eliza and Jeremy head to to help Rick Whitehorn, a retired Marine, get his 1998 Jeep Comanche back up and running! The brakes and steering were the primary focus of this rescue but they were able to get him a few other things like new bumpers!
    Thanks to RockAuto.com and Nissan we're able to bring the van full of parts needed to help these viewers out. Be sure to enter your vehicle for Driveway Rescue here. #RockAuto #Nissan #IntelligentMobility

    • @nbrowser
      @nbrowser Před 5 lety +5

      The actual fluid seals are located right in the pumpkin section on either side of the differential on the front axle. They are actually a pain to replace because in most cases you have to rig up a long section of all thread and some washers and whatnot in addition to yanking the ring and carrier out of the differential. If Jeep was to put anything on the tube ends at the wheels...it's likely to be a small dust shield to slow down dirt travelling down the axle tubes to the actual fluid seals. like Ford uses on the solid front axle Super Duty trucks.
