Same thing happened to me some time ago as Kiriko lmao. I was in the same game as this person and we got friendly for some reason (Can't Remember if we were on the same team or not). The next game I join was on Shambali and I spot the same person playing Kiri but on the enemy team. They accidentally kill me, I point it out to them in chat and next you know we're both spamming emotes and voicelines together away from our team for those whole short 4 minutes of game (Both teams had the same disavantage having a support less but the attackers were still getting demolished); my reinhardt was even kind enough to spare her when he walked back from spawn (He said hello and joined us for a small while too). It's the little cute moments like these that make OW still worth it.🫠❤️
This is honestly the reason I am still playing the game. If I had been just playing it as the devs intended it I would've been so sick of it so long ago. But after it came out free to play, all of these people make the game worth playing again. There's a sense of community now, where as Overwatch 1 I refered to the community for the longest time as "the toxic sludge pit" because everyone in overwatch would just be toxic and flaming each other all the time. While that's normal in FPS games, it's nice to have new people like this too. And making it free to play, whatever if your teammates get pissed, it's just a game. It's not worth losing your mental over your teammates enjoying the other features in the game. And as long as it's still fair I applaud it.
