Scientists: “More than you can imagine!”
Wren: “I don’t know, I can imagine quite a bit.”
Hahah yes😂
Wren's eyes light up... "Challenge accepted!"
I love that 500+ people either also thought of this, or just get the reference.

"No video is worth this!"
Einstein said once something about creativity being more important than science
Feel bad for the guy that had to count all those ants.
we all do
Feel good for all the ant-eaters that gorged later...
That's what interns are for
some say he's still counting
And the guy who piled them up like that
Well I killed ten so it’s no longer accurate 💀💀💀
lol
It's just a rounding error
Haha
at least 2.88 quadrillion ants are born each day
Ten, that’s WEAK I killed a whole fucking colony.
I just want to say, Corridor Crew, I’m seriously loving these videos with Wren using VFX as an educational tool and in conjunction with interesting informative content like this. I seriously enjoy these videos. I like this side of Wren too he’s one of those people that actually can keep my attention while being informative. I’m not quite sure how to explain it but during my entire school career there were so teachers I just had a hard time connecting with and then there were these teachers that just got “it”. Maybe it’s the enthusiasm you can see in one’s eyes when they are talking about something they are genuinely passionate or interested in and it’s hard for it not to be contagious
Wholeheartedly agree! I could see these videos playing really well with kids in schools.
its not necessarily JUST the passion for what they're talking about, but they have to also be passionate about teaching others and sharing their knowledge.
I had a math teacher who clearly was passionate about math, but he came off as just so condescending, so a good half of his students just didnt connect with him(and hes been teaching for 11 years, he shouldve gotten "it").
but another math teacher i had clearly liked the subject, and liked sharing his knowledge and he was my favorite math teacher ever. I still remember my favorite quote from him, "I hate everyone equally"
They look delicious,,,mmmm, bbq ants

Wren is like the oldest (and smartest) kid in the planet. One of the reasons it's so refreshing to watch him.
Exactly. Its his childlike enthusiasm for everything even mildly interesting to him that is just so wholesome.

Wren is simply next in line for the role that Bill Nye had in educational videos.

@@onsokumaru4663 absolutely not.
The actual answer is quite simply about 5-6 times their weight at most. (I know there are ants that lift up to 7 times or something like that, but we need the average ant)

Wren you're a phenomenal educator. These videos are great.
Your VFX team is amazing. Great video!
These scale videoes are always entertaining. Really well produced!
Wren has showed multiple times now that CGI and visual effects are not just useful for entertainment, but they can help people understand and imagine things previously thought to be unimaginable.
Like, these numbers are so big that our brain does not know what to do with them. By visualizing the numbers you contribute to the understanding of these concepts. As a biology student I want to say thanks Wren!
well thank YOU!

Positivity and enthusiasm is infectious. I hope it's as genuine as it looks and he doesn't turn into a miserable sod when the camera stops rolling. 🙏🏻🙂
I've been missing Wren's "imagineable" videos.
One thing I've always found abstract and hard to picture is the difference between Watts, Amperage, and Voltage. Another cool one would be sound in Decibels. I used to see a chart at the doctor that compared the loudness of different sounds from tiny sounds like whispers to loud sounds like lawnmowers and jet engines(I was an avionics tech and am now pretty much deaf lol). Just throwing this out there in case you were looking for some more ideas! I love this series!
thanks for making this it really sorted out my weekend it's been a tough one

This is such a good series. I love these.
I feel like only Wren can make me feel like I’m 8 years old, sitting at home, excited to learn. All those retro transitions were giving me throwbacks , thankyou for the nostalgia, Wren!
Wren’s truly contagious excitement for measuring the scale of thing we can’t really imagine in our own is just brilliant. I can’t imagine CC without him and his childlike wonder 😂❤

Totally loved the visuals and the content of the video
I always love how positive Wren is. He sometimes reminds me why I work in the movies. To think the unimaginable and to entertain.
Bringing educational content to the world of entertainment. I felt like I was watching a Bill Nye show. This was fantastic Wren!
This content right here is why I LOVE THIS CHANNEL!! making the unimaginable imaginable! I love this I need more of this... atomic bombs, mythical creatures, Titans, galaxies, black holes, suns, oceanic water, other life forms, interstellar comparisons, Lord Of The Rings comparisons; journey's, dragons, creatures, wars, land, lore.... I'd love to see this kind of topics explored visually!
As a child, we had a song about "the ants go marching" 1x1, 2x2, 3x3, etc. I'm kind of glad now that I didn't know about the 20 quadrillion number back then.
This was BRILLIANT! Once again Wren has stepped up and given us a magnificent way to really get a handle on some of those "Unimaginable" things. I genuinely **LOVE** these videos and I hope that Sam and Niko continue to give Wren the opportunity to make them!
From the very start of this video I couldn't help but think "Wren better send this video to the authors" So glad to see the collab included in the video, the joy on their faces was great to see. (edit: good editing, I know you made me feel those things on purpose)
Love this video from you! I would love to see more videos like this in your style.

Wren's scale videos always look so high quality it's almost "unimaginable"

bottom line
I absolutely adore Wren's video series, from what 1TB of paper would look like, to this, to the water video he made a while back; all of them show a tremendous amount of research and time investment for not only an entertaining video, but one that is well thought out, presented and informative.
Wren, Sir, my hat is off to you for another amazing video. I hope we get to see more of these in the future.
Omg you do not disappoint. Covered every base lol
Superb work once again, Wren. With your (and the team behind it) passion for imagining the unimaginable you might inspire those commonly not interested in these topics.
Question: do you take requests what to imagine next?
This is one of the best things in Corridor Crew and it’s literally just wren. What a hero
FUN FACT 9:00 if that line of ants around the earth was to stack up (each time the ant line circles the earth it stacks on top of each other) the result would be a *5 AND A HALF KILOMETER tall wall* around the equator (about 3 and a half MILES). That’s nuts!
