Tonight¹s special programme entitled Jazz meets the Symphony puts Lalo and his band in front of a 89 piece symphony orchestra to explore symphonic variations on Latin Jazz and perform some of his finest compositions including The Fox, Enter the Dragon and The Dirty Harry Suite.
One of the reasons which went unacknowledged for the stupendous success of Enter the Dragon is the music. Lalo Schifrin combined oriental and western music in the right mix which in tune with mood of the film.
An absolute MASTER composer! He is my very favorite. Composing for movies/t.v. is ultimately what I would love to do. I'm working on it. This man and his work, continue to be a source of unlimited inspiration. His ideas are incredibly powerful and intense. Wow! Peace.

Saw this live, made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck. He also talked a little about Bruce, was amazing.

LALO SCHIFRIN = LEGEND! Arguably the greatest ever action movie / thriller music composer. Close to him are Roy Budd, Jerry Goldsmith (RIP) and Michael Kamen (RIP).
Two of the most prolific and iconic entities of film music of the last 70 years.... right here !:)

No its good no doubt but Enrico's 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly' - The Danish National Symphony Orchestra (Live) exceeds it on so many levels--its so odd Bruce's mark after all this time made this happen. Bruce Lee, say no more just the name carries everything in it.
Don't concentrate on the finger or you will miss all that heavenly glory!!

I was there. To be honest mostly for this particular piece and it was amazing. The place went mental at the end. Stunning stuff and a privilege to see Lalo in action.

The best score of all Bruce Lee movies, the main theme is also the theme of Lee, the greatest Martial Artist of all time.
