Bumblebee is easily the best of them all because it relies greatly on character relationships and actually at least scratches the concept Cybertronian-Human first contact and cultural relations , even if Bumblebee has no memory for most of it .
I agree, the first Transformers movie was great, characters were interesting and the battles had weight. When the all-spark turned machines into decepticons and started killing people it felt impactful. Megatron was a force to be reckoned with, the decepticons were actually scary cold-blooded killer machines. After that? Goofy villains, Megatron turned into a shadow of his former self. If you are just there to enjoy seeing Transformer that's genuinely fine, it's still enjoyable if you're just looking for cool robot action. But from a critical point of view they're all really poorly written movies.
The Original 3 with Sam Witwicked were very good, entertaining, thriling and enjoyable. The Mark wallbag ones were boring with forced jokes and humor, lacked stakes and seriousness but mostly deprived of constant transformers actions and more of jarring, tedious and slow pacing human dramas. The last 2018 one was relatively an overated Nickelodeon sitcom which deprived any attributes of its predecessors. Bland is the word I was looking for.
The mark Wahlberg ones were a little interesting, couldn't care less for the humans but the transformers were kinda cool in Age of extinction and lockdown was a pretty fun character
@@offdazaza2769 The transfomers design were fantastic and yes cool. But I don't prefer them since they appeared more human shaped and denied the credibility of mechanical functions as the old designs. Just like Iron-Man's Bleeding Edge suit in Avengers IW it was just too lazy and not impressive anymore. Beside the Transformers, Yeager and the old man, the other characters were just too blunt and uninteresting, there wasn't enough in them to provide an essential emotional bond with the audience, especially the hot lady who came out of nowhere and happens to be the chosen one who is unlikable, egostic and perfect without any weaknesses nor flows that there's nothing to root for the character, unlike Sam and his first hot girlfriend, but more like Ray Skywalker from Star-Wars it just bores the hell out your blood. And the story wasn't as interesting as it lacked focus and a sense of escalating tension unlike the other 3, just another carbon copy of its predecessors but less interesting. That's just my opinion but you're welcome to challenge and criticize it.
@@kingsman1713 every single tf movie with bay involved is fucking trash slop that's barely trying to be a movie. bumblebee is pretty good if unambitious. ROTB has a bad plot but decent characters and action.
The animated Transformers movie (the one with Orson Welles as Unicron) is and always will be the best. I will say that the first MB Transformers movie had its moments and was alright but the sequels got rather ridiculous, although i can't say anything about Bumblebee cause I haven't seen it and I'm not certain about Rise of The Beasts cause I haven't seen that one either
@@rainer8727 yes it does look good but that's what most of us usually remember about it. It's like watching a fight compilation on youtube and then U forgot about the story.
Bruh, the first 4 transformers movies are ten times better than the cheesy crap we're getting now. Jazz was GOATed, and instead we got some cringe lord named Mirage.
the first 4 (with the exception of maybe the 1st) were a bunch of plotless exploding 2 hour bud light ads. the new ones actually feel like the transformers again
Come on, man. Don't do the Bayverse designs like that! Don't you know the kind of work that went into those? Each one had their own team, as far as I can remember. The Michael Bay Transformers movies have iffy story at times but they have some of the best designs of any transformers media, bar none.

Thank you that’s what I’ve been trying to say
The movies where poorly written yes but they where enjoyable at least lol 😅
I agree with almost all of the examples shown here. Where would you put DOTM, out of curiousity?
I'd probably put in the higher tier of films. I think it's pretty enjoyable, but it's not the best one.
I agree with this.

crazy how you filled an entire paragraph with bad takes

You do realize this has nothing to do with design right. This has to do with the quality of the movie
I have to disagree
