Nice overview, I'm going to have to break open this kit sooner than later
Spencer - You're going to love it - great kit!
nice looking kit
BigE - It's an easy builder too.
Great build as usual, Doug! Only one nit to pick... The grill should have the recesses blacked out. OK, two. The fan clutch would be an argent silver. Not a bright silver, but an odd, dull, off-metalic sort of color that's hard to describe. And a tip for contest builders... You say not to paint the washer bottle, but it appears you did, white, which is correct. They were "blow-moulded" and were opaque white, never clear. Paint the bottom half translucent blue, the top half flat white, and then wash the bottom with a VERY thin coat of flat white. Gives the appearance of washer fluid in it. Cap would be black, as they were moulded plastic. Happy New Year!
PL, Great tips, thanks! -Doug
niiice , thank you Doug
You're welcome Ray! -Doug

Awesome results! May I ask which paint brand and color you used for the blue body?
Thanks!

Right On Replicas Thank you Doug! Really appreciate it. Subscribed!
how and what did you use to make the engine stand you use? great video
John - Great question. That's just small squares and lengths of the runs from sprue trees glued into a 2" x 2" frame. We like to get the engine off the table so the detail can be seen clearly. -Doug
Nice work, I see Yenko and I know that car is extra special! Is there a Yenko Stinger kit out there somewhere too?
Thanks. Max! If your referring to the Corvair Yenko Stinger - there are some kits that were issued but they are getting pricey. -Doug
Lindo.
I can not get the fuel pump on plz explain, is it cemented?
Rifffin - It is glued on but the attachment point is not well defined. Be sure to scrape off the chrome and paint and place it on the niche on the right front side of the block.
Ummm did you miss the control arms? Where do they go I’m so confused
OO, The front control arms are installed at 3:19 of this video. They have positive location points for gluing there! -Doug
which ones are the back wheels I forgot which are which
CHA, Those are part number 72. They are similarly shaped but have a slightly longer hub. PS, please help us reach more modelers by subscribing if you haven't done so already. -Doug
