    Thank you thank you THANK YOU!! I started trying to dip about a month ago and went through a ton of film with horrible results. I knew it was the activator application but all the other videos i watched were "20psi" "12-16"" no luck at all. I watched your video and set my gun up as you recommend it and NAILED it! Can't say enough good about your videos!

    I know this is an older video, 6 years or so. You were referring to the air pressure going into the spray gun, approx 75 psi, and the pressure coming out the tip, approx 8 to 10 psi. How do you gauge that?

    • @Hammerback0
      @Hammerback0 Před 3 lety

      Gauge on the air compressor says 75, gauge on the paint gun is 8-10

    Doesn’t that stuff stink? It stinks so bad when I spray it I use a gas mask.

    hey bryan since the activator has chemicals like xylene in the mixture do you have extractor fans?

    • @LiquidConceptsUSA
      @LiquidConceptsUSA Před 7 lety

      We do not have a extractor fan but several of my customers do. We wear our respirator mask when spraying.

    • @073731002
      @073731002 Před 7 lety

      Liquid Concepts but when you spray it aren't you worried about how flammable xylene is

    • @LiquidConceptsUSA
      @LiquidConceptsUSA Před 7 lety

      We have had all of our spraying testing based on the amounts sprayed and the chemicals and a respirator is perfectly fine for what we spraying. They do make some activators that are available that are almost completely xylene free.

    well i just discovered why i lost my graphics last night, too much activator. but i have a question, does the water really have to be brought up to 85/90 degrees?

    • @LiquidConceptsUSA
      @LiquidConceptsUSA Před 7 lety

      No but cooler water will require longer soak times for the films.

    I've been spraying that high always have and I don't get those results but also you was moving back and forth way to fast on your "proper technique " you was passing real slow and when you went to the next piece of film you was just going back and forth and back and forth not giving the activator not time to settle I use your activator high up like that no problem

  • @deerbeerdeerbeer
    @deerbeerdeerbeer Před 9 lety

    huh?????i dont get it. The proper amount of activator close to the film gets you a good dip. Way too much activator from high up gets you a bad dip. OK.....How about spray the correct amount from both close...THEN from high up and well see what the difference is..EVERYONE already knows that to get a good dip you need to apply the correct amount of activator.

    He never wears a mask. Does anybody else wear a gas mask or am I the only one?

    • @Hammerback0

      Of course. He was just experiencing freedom before the Kung flu and the plandemic hit. Amazing almost 8 years later and he's still alive. Probably sprayed that whole gallon by now.
