Listening this reminds me of times when i used to watch barbie without missing a single time, i used to draw barbie stuff with my friends back then. I miss everyone. I miss enjoying life as a kid and when i didn't have any actual problems in life. it makes me so nostalgic i feel like crying. But also at the same time it comforts me cause i get reminded of how fast life goes and my problems now will also go away one day. 😭

True story: My mom bought several Barbie movies when I was a young teenager for when my nieces would come over. After watching the movies with the girls, Mom and I decided that we didn't need my nieces there to have an excuse to watch them. We bought all of the ones that came out between 2001-2007, but 12 Dancing Princesses was one we'd keep coming back to. The early era Barbie movies were just so good!!

i can't stop crying, this movie was one of my absolute favourites. i did ballet growing up and i remember always feeling frumpy and out of place-- never feeling that good or graceful compared to the rest of the girls. there was something truly special about this movie that made me forget about all that, and even though i was never an amazing dancer this made me feel proud to be one

It makes me so sad because I miss my childhood so much. So many memories that I want back. And the fact that the new barbie movies got to boring and bad.. it’s not princess theme anymore..it’s about girl power and friendship. Not about a princess and a prince, they dance to ballet, they get married, the music. It’s nothing like that anymore. Barbie looks so different now. I want barbie back, I want the real barbie back, I want the magic back.
