In the CZcams VR App you just look up and choose the option to display the screen in your panel and it switches it to pass through mode and if you had the browsers open it will show up with what you had open
I’ve had Quest 2 for a year; only using it 7-8 times, no more than an hour each time. It just wasn’t doing it for me - image was too blurry , hard to get the sweet spot.. I just took a chance on Quest 3 yesterday and its night and day difference for me. Most of the reasons I didn’t use Q2 are fixed… The only downside is watching 3D video on it makes me want an Apple Vision for that crisp 4k!
Still, the video is serviceable enough and games look phenomenal.

Since the update there is not 120HZ toggle switch. The only thing I have under display is the night mode display
I have a tip better than all of those combined as long as you have voice command enabled under settings you can power down your headset using only your voice double tap the Meta button & say power down, it will ask are you sure just say "yes" also it works with turning up & down volume also on a side note Meta brought back casting to the Chromecast, that's why it works lol they gave a disclaimer though, that it's not a solid connection.
Can you also say something like this: "open Beat Saber" and it opens the app instead of you having to search through all your apps?
The quest 2 has had cast to chromecast for years.

If you want to cast specifically just to a TV, some have a browser option (I have an LG TV that does) and you can use the casting link through that.
You can do the same playing the background thing with the virtual desktop app

You know because of the backlash they reinstated casting to TV right
I wasn't even affected by the cast cancel and I'm furious. I'm going to send a support complaint now. Thats absolutely ridiculous.
Small correction, the left/right eye selection when recording is not about the red dot, but about which eye image is the one being recorded. Say for example that you are playing a shooter game and you peek a corner with one eye, then one eye sees what's ahead and the other sees the wall. Or you could record with the predominant eye you use for aiming with guns or a bow and arrow and stuff 👍
No way, apologies, but I appreciate you for correcting that. I could’ve sworn I was able to move it from left to right from there. Unless I accidentally demonstrated the wrong setting. I’m going to work on an update. Again, thank you for correcting it for us.

That happens with all VR for most people. Used to happen with me when I first used PS VR. You’ll get used to it eventually

Nice! Idk if your bday already passed but make sure to turn it on for the first time in a bright room or passthrough will look blurry/grainy

Are u sure about fast charge because every other vod I've watched about tips say u can fast charge upto 45w?
When u open big screen I see, CZcams, prime, Disney, twitch, pluto but when I open big screen app Disney, pluto not showing how to fix it?
I got this on release day, it’s great, but nobody I knew had one. My friend told me he got one today, so I jumped on here to see if there is anything I need to know about updates only to find they have removed the Chromecast feature, this breaks my heart why would they do this?

It feels that way, BUT you can in fact move the wheel further. My ipd is 67. The wheels feels like it wants to stop around 65, but don't be afraid to keep going higher or lower as the case may be.
Isn't the IPD between 58-71 ? I've had my Quest 3 a few days now and my IPD says Min when it gets to 58. My IPD happens to be 58 according to Glasses On app. It also says this on the vr compare website.

I just got the quest 3.. the haptic feedback is soooo weak compared to the Quest 1 and 2, what's going on? It's turned up all the way. I've read online that meta has decided to tune this down? Why?.. Anyone else having this issue? It just doesn't feel as immersive anymore, especially fps games.
actually in the meta store they sell a 45W fast charger for the quest

@Cutthroatcuts still supports 45w power delivery tho. They recommend using 45w on the charging Dock

Hey dude, have you gotten sick at all using the Quest 3?
I never had with the quest, I have had once on the PSVR 1. But everyone may very. I heard there’s a few thing someone can do to help pervert it like place a fan facing them and a circular carpet can help if you do.
In addition to the fan idea, it also helps if you lean a bit with the motion shown in your headset. For example, if you try a rollercoaster, lean back going uphill, forward going down, and left and right as needed.

IPD levels are a lie! I have seen many people get IPD levels between 60-65mm on their Quest 3

Too bad passthrough sucks! I didn’t know it would be grainy. Expected to do all my house work in this headset and I don’t even want to because of how grainy it is.

@@l.m.t7489 For some reason I can't see your comment, just half of it in my notifications. But basically it made me feel like real life wasn't real and that I am trapped behind my eyes, in a body that isn't mine and for at least 3 weeks every time I slept I had VR dreams and nightmares lol. This is after 7 days of light to moderate use and then completely stopping! DPDR = Depersonalization and Derealization. But I am already under a lot of stress irl so it might be a bad combination. I decided to stop using it and will start again when life is a bit more relaxed.
@@l.m.t7489 the 3D thing you are describing is depth perception I believe. It did mess with my depth perception too. I was less accurate and off balance/became a bit clumsy.

No matter how good a VR headset looks you're always going to look like a dork angrily waving your arms at air so don't worry about it, just have fun and embrace the immersion that only VR can provide
