      I was really unimpressed with my note 20 ultra under screen scanner It was unreliable and slow. I just ended up using my pattern unlock most of the time. But with my fold 3 the physical scanner is extremely fast and reliable. Keep the physical scanner!

      It's not that fragile. People just expect it to be as durable as thick rigid glass. Which is impossible. The plastic screen protector helps with durability. Anyway treat it like you care about it and. It will be plenty durable and last as long as you want. Treat it like it's worthless, throw it around, set it on rocks, drop it 30 times a day due to Inability to multi-task. Then it will likely break.

      I own the original Galaxy Fold and Fold 2.. to be honest I dont get it why you find it fragile.. Ive droped both phones a couple times from around 1.6 meters(5feet4) and nothing has happened to both of them. Of course I have cases on both.. working everyday on them for a few hours each and to be honest I'm happier with the inner screens even more than with my old conventional phones. At the end you use the inner when you need it not just open and close to see who messaged you while driving or when shoping groceries.

    My first choice for fingerprint scanners is rear-mounted because I can easily unlock it while (or whilst if you prefer} removing it from my pocket. Side-mounted is my second choice. At 73 years of age, the minutiae of my prints are worned down enough to often have problems with under-the-screen sensors; although i have had good luck with my 21FE and Tab S8+. BTW, I enjoy your videos, which I find fast-paced and informative.

      No way, Samsung is increasingly being such a bitch it will not give u best of all worlds. Yes, no charger. no earphones, no sd card slot. To expect Samsung to put S22 ultra type of cameras on fold 4 is to ask it to cannibalise its own s22 flagship series. Even Huawei came up with a similar fold design phone fitted with s21 ultra camera setup last year. This shows that Samsung has the ability to do the same for fold 3 last year but nope, it refused to give it to us.
      Samsung Wan maximum profits so u hv to settle for either s22 ultra for top notch cameras or fold 4 with normal s22 cameras. Or get both models if ur pockets r deep enuff, which is my case. Lol

    Sansung Z fold 3 unfoldable screen is too narrow to use with one hand. If you want to text a message with one hand and want to keep the phone in vertical position, it’s uncomfortable, and if you turn to horizontal position, it forces you to use both hands.

    I think there is a good chance they may make an under display fingerprint reader for the outer display at least. I'm not so sure about the inner display though. Me personally I like the physical button more but the the display fingerprint sensor is more convenient when I had my note 20 ultra. Only improvements I'd like to see that would have me consider to upgrade is a bigger battery, s pen support on the cover display and a wider outer display.

    The inner screen should be getting bigger not smaller! The whole point of a foldable is to have a big screen that you can fold and pocket. The screen size should be at least the size of the iPad mini 5, 7.9 or even 8.3 like on the mini 6. I think 8” would be enough.

    I think the expectation of people are really crazy if they require better water or dust resistance from these phones. What should be expected from these fold/flip phones should be the crease. If OPPO is able to come up with a folding phone with 80% less visible crease, so should Samsung. General buyers need better display, better camera and better battery. They do not need phones to have dust/water resistance for shooting under water.

    Dosen⁴I make sense to make the outer screen bigger and the inner screen smaller. Also the physical button to unlock the screen/phone works best to me. Also, if the s pen is housed, it will be much smaller than the current s pen for the z fold three. We need a bigger battery. 6k mah would be best. I'll take 5k mah battery size. Decrease the crease size. I read rumors that the battery would be smaller. That would be a disaster. They need to increase the outer screen size, size. I just don't see how samsung will make a s pen housing and keep the same size of the current S pen. And increase the battery size, camera size make a housing for the s pen and improve the camera size. Other foldable phones will do this with an s pen and will do a better job than samsung. Samsung will have to count heavily on those that are loyal to the brand.

    Love the idea of a fold...still...but unless they sort out a way to make the screen durable, I'll pass. I was standing in line at a haunted house last October. Several people had foldable phones and were using them while waiting. Every single one had a screen that looked like stretched out plastic. I'm gonna skip that phase. I'd be more interested in 2 nearly borderless screens that meet up nicely when folded out and maybe have a thin line you can see where they meet.

  • @DK24S
    @DK24S Před 2 lety

    Cameras shouldn't be a big of a deal on these type of phones maybe the main screen camera and it doesn't really have to be a perfect under display even a punch hole is not really a lot if they want to go with the best they have. For the rest they can just go with what they already have on previous phones if they want. Power, battery life, main screen, and s-pen should be everything for these and personaly fingerprint on the power button is better than under display, but they could change the position.
