This guy is amazing, Frank McComb is a true talent, you ought to hear him sing! jesus!
The first guy I've actually seen on you tube do a full song with a keyboard track and actually play the song.Great Job man..
I concur. Mr. Frank McComb is one of my absolute favorite artists. Truly a rare talent who deserves mainstream exposure.
What a talented brother. Beautiful playing and combined with his singing ability it is a shame he is not more widely known.
Simply smooth !!! thanks for sharing ..
The Truth!! Do your thing Frank!!!!!!
WOOOOOOOOOOW!!!! When I hear this standard of demoing a piece of kit makes me wanna run to the shop in my PJs (1am over here) wake up owner of the shop and buy that M3!

I can imagine being in LA, with a convertible and having fun and being happy...palm trees, nice girls, nice music in the car :) oh yeah...my wallet full of money too lol
i know this cat personally, he plays it all but his heart is in jazz. He is a jazz player, his albums are soulful though, his live shows are always heavy jazz, he was lead singer for brandford marsalis cration buckshot le fonque, frank is a jazz head.
On my hard drive, waiting to be edited.
his style is BEAST!! I love it...his voice is nice too...

Hi all ! :) this song is excellent ! thx Franck !
Is someone knows where we can find the score of this music ( name V12?) ? ( or midi file ) ...
Thx !! @++
oh man ! robert glasper is awesome too !
both of them are great talents ;D
As the beginning of the video says, the name of the song is "V12". I don't know if it is on an album yet; Frank told me he wrote the song specifically for NAMM, which was in Jan 2008, so I assume he would put it on his next album whenever that comes out (if it hasn't already).
Anyone whos viewed my channel knows I like Frank, he is a talent bar none. For those who dont know him check out his voice. EVEN BETTER!!!!!

add &fmt=18 to end of URL for stereo audio
ex: watch?v=OM2dbZ_iIuk&fmt=18
how 'bout now?
ok, take your time. i'll wait another 5 years. good luck ;)
karma can do that. go try it out in a music shop...
Unfortunately, no... too busy trying to release new software...
This must be played using a sequence-track. KARMA alone cant do this right?
@HammondB200 - Clearly not. ;)
It's more like jazz funk or jazz soul. ;-)
THIS BOY IS BAD!!!!!!!!!!! Why does music have to be categorized? Either use it or lose it. If you ever get a chance to see Frank, GO. Excellent musician as you can see, but live performances are awesome too! Support this brutha puttin' out POSITIVE music.
People categorize to try and accurately describe the music they've been listening to. Likely they could use another way to describe but generally these categories are fairly accurate. What's annoying is when I hear people dismissing certain genres based only on the genre. However the snobbery around categorization of music is overblown IMHO. If it looks like a bird and flies like a bird, I'll tell you it's from the bird category. Just sayin...
jazz fool.!
Definitely not jazz, more like "smooth jazz". McComb is an R&B artist originally.
Karma iz nice but you havta have the TALENT first and dude iz nice....
