The red rattletrap is my go to lure. Where I live if u swim a red rattletrap right by the bed they will attack the rattle trap. I already caught an 8 pounder on the rattletrap. I also got a hook stuck deep in my finger. I also love the bandito bugs. Have a great day!
Try a braid to mono leader on the buzzbait to minimise the amount of tangles that you get 💪

Hey LOJO quick tip! On your buzzbait setup add a fluorocarbon leader. It doesn’t matter if the line sinks the lure sinks to. For the connection knot use a blood knot which is the smallest connection knot and for attaching the line to the lure use a uní knot. By adding a leader your braid won’t wrap around the buzzbait. Hopefully this tip helps you!✌️🎣

I was also out for Large mouth bass today at several shallow edged small ponds at a Marsh I am a member of .... 1/4 oz Chartruse spinner bait , 6" black lizard , a 1/4 oz white and Chartruse Chatterbait with a 4" white twister tail and a 6 " White or Chatruse swim bait ... walked around 3 of the ponds and got tired of catching 8" to 3 lb male bass ( mostly) setting up beds .... mostly in 18" to 2 1/2' of water
Hey LOJO, love your vids man. One thing I think a lot of people would appreciate especially those just getting into the sport would be a “clock/time stamp” in the corner of your vids. I’ve seen a ton of comments over the years asking what’s the best time to fish what lures and I think you’d help a lot of folks if they can see when you get on the water and when the bites shuts off. I love the way you cast a bait caster, you cast with your left hand and reel rite away with your right hand. Everyone that reels right cast's right and have to move pole to the left hand them start to reel. I cast right hand reel left seems so much faster not changing hands. Just thought tourny guy's try to save time in everything they do. Maybe they take a good look at time spent changing hands.

For you next challenge, you should do a rainbow challenge. Rod, reel, line and bait have to make the colors of the rainbow. 7 items in total. Challenge doesn't apply to terminal tackle, unless you wanna use red hook.

Man lojo your vids have really helped me these past couple of weeks. I live in south Texas like only a couple of minutes from the Mexico border and our pre spawn only last from February-March and i havnt been able to go out fishing cause of this darn corona but just watching your fishing vids are pretty darn close to being just as awsome as actually on the water so just wanted to say thank you and keep up the content. Trench hog is a slayer! Weightless, letting it naturally sink, usually gets slammed before it hits bottom. Problem, they DON’T last more than a 8 casts, or 1-2 good bites 🤬. Great action. Went to other baits that are similar motion, better durability 😩.
I actually caught a 10.01lb on the Trench Hawg this spring. 2/15/20. My first DD.

The only success ive had with trench hawg is bed fishing with it. For some reason the few 3-4lbers ive caught with it they swallowed it moreso than picking it up.

you know, I've never trusted out of the package hook's sharpness, I guess I took this from my Dad and my Grandpa, we always give a couple of caresses with a very fine file. I'm not going to tell y'all we've never lost a fish, but by doing this chances of bad hookups, are minimal.
