Want to say thank you for all your uploads during this crazy pandemic time, being a high risk cancer fighter, am on major lock down. Luckily I have my own personal pond on property to fish, or I would be going major crazy, but your vids help pass the time, thank you so much, please keep up the good work, it's enjoyed and appriciated! Talking about challenge ideas, my buddies and I used to do challenges where we had to make or own lures, we would select a hook we had to use, then use what ever could find to make a lure, wood, feathers, string, bottle caps, bullet casings, jewelery, what ever we could find, was always lot of fun,, just an idea you and your crazy buds should try sometime! Thank you again!

They’ve probably been mentioned already, but those red tabs on the spoons are supposed to mimic a wounded fish with blood trail, and Amazon will often make up the descriptions for those lures to use multiple key words in order to push certain items. In China, their are usually multiple items that are represented by their word for lures, so in many cases, it’s up to the folks at Amazon to decipher and create the descriptions we see
That first lure the actual one you received is designed for rock fishing for Pollack and wrasse in Europe. It is supposed to imitate a sandeel

Excellent video the main thing with fishing is patience and it doesn't matter if u have to alter the bait or rig to catch the fish especially when water condition and clarity matters definitely wanna see more of these in the future!!

my personal worst lure is on of the most popular on the planet, a Spinnerbait. iv caught 2 TOTAL bass on them not for lack of trying lol

23:18 Its never a good feeling when your fishing with a fairy wand and "hes in the pads though".
I’ve caught quite a few bass and stripers with that eel swimbait before. The ones I bought were crooked at the tails just like yours, but I straightened them out by dipping the tails and part of the lower bodies into hot water for a few seconds and then I dipped them into cold water for a few seconds. This step helps to straighten up the bent-up lures.
Also, the reason why these lures tend to be crooked in the tail section in the first place is because they are sold with a cheap tackle box that are half the length of the lures and the people that sell them simply crammed them into the tiny tackle box to make them fit, which caused the tails to be bent out of shape.

I actually own a bunch of those chinese spoons and spinners. The actual lures are rubbish, but the spoons and spinners work very well. I've caught bass and trout on them.
I've caught some salmon on those silver spoons
You cannot really screw a spoon up. I mean if you go cut a regular table spoon handle off, drill 2 holes and add a treble hook, you will catch fish with it.
I would love to go fishing with you and any of the squad... I follow all you guys. Love the fishing 🎣 on a budget episodes. Or a $60 challenge.... $60 to get everything you need. So spend wisely 😌 lol....

Think the long names are mainly for when someone searches “carbon hooks” or “fishing tool” the product (yellow swim bait) will pop up just because the name, probably helps the product to be seen more
Ya that’s exactly why they do it, but I’m almost positive amazon allows for keywords to be added meaning these long titles are just sellers who don’t know how to use the site.

Love what you do uncle lojo, however I would love to see you make your own baits with pieces and parts from other baits just come up with something crazy completely out of the ordinary and then fish it.

nice vid. it does feel good to catch a fish with a lure that hasnt worked before. Was slow yesterday so I switched up to a lure that hasnt had good results just because i was bored. Ended up getting a 20.5" drum :D

9:30 That kind of lure is known as a Red gill/eddystone eel and they're sea fishing lures from the UK dating from the 50's. They're meant to imitate a very common prey fish called the sand eel/lance and are still widely used for catching European sea bass on the coast as well as a whole range of creatures from deeper waters when used like a jig in a team. I've had some success in fresh water with them but only in clear water when the fish were smashing everything that went past them, definitely not my go to though.
The easiest way to tie them on is to pull the hook out the back, thread the line through the nose until it comes out the hook slot, tie the hook and then pull it back into the body. It really doesn't help if the manufacturer has used those gripper style hooks with the barbs on the shank. Texas rigging them seems to work best for working them across the bottom.

Fun stuff, not surprised since there are videos showing nice bass being caught on a Lego Chewbaca and a 2x3 inch wood block. There is another video with a talk from a fisheries expert where he said "I am always amazed at how much money people will spend trying to outsmart a fish that isn't smart", speaking specifically of large mouth bass.

The glow in the dark lure is on of the best there is but you have to attach it back to a ball. you have to take the hook off put the line in Through the mouth tie thevhook and put it back
