If you didn’t understand the content you wouldn’t continue watching it. It’s his sole job to compile the information and make it understandable if he wants to make money. That being said, I doubt you understand the content to the degree that you think you do. This is even less than a small rundown of what nanotechnology really is. I’d go as far as to just call it a list of facts. I’m sorry but I find his content bland and uninspiring.

@@dragonsharker4793 After checking out your channel, and admiring the work and the contributions you've made to the CZcams community over the last six years, I can definitely admit that I see where you're coming from.
You have *exactly* , *precisely* , *ZERO fkng knowledge* of what this person's level of understanding is regarding nanotechnology. You're a presumptuous nitwit.
People consume content that they don't fully understand, or completely don't understand, *All The Time*. A lot of people are visual learners. Exposing themselves to content they don't understand expands the mind and helps them to eventually understand. I don't agree that this video is "just a list of facts", but even if it were, the presentation and delivery of those facts, in the way that Aperture does it, makes it very accessible to many people.
So, while it's bland and uninspiring to a genius like you, It is *clearly* beneficial to the many mere mortals that you have to be burdened sharing the planet with. The good news, since you dislike the content, hopefully I won't have to see any more of your arrogant, stupid comments here any more.

Hey aperture a bit of constructive criticism here:
-your topics have been really centered around th brain and even though Its really good try changing it up and talking about space or facts or something..
-Your videos are becoming a bit fast paced I think you should slow down a little
-and finally, the names of your videos are pretty repetitive. I mean it's always "something : something something" you should try new styles of naming them
But keep it up man, you'll always get a like from me!

@@RowdyElectron and @The Demented Siblings .. I use an extension on Chrome called "Video Speed Controller", created by "igrigorik", and I honestly could *not* live without it at this point. It will allow you to slow down / speed up videos (FAR more than YT lets you, and *FAR* easier, and with much more granular control) and it does it in a way that _doesn't ruin the pitch of the audio_ . It's located here:
      chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/video-speed-controller/nffaoalbilbmmfgbnbgppjihopabppdk
and my personal settings for the extension's options can be viewed here:
      i.imgur.com/jD41Ah1.jpg
So, if I want slower, I just press "D" (for "decrease speed". Faster? "S" ("speed up") . Return to regular speed: "R". Hide/Show the translucent video controller display: "V". For scrubbing back or forward 5 seconds at a time in a video, I just use the left/right arrow keys on the keyboard. Quick tap 3 times .. 15 second rewind, etc. But, you can use the extensions shortcuts for that if it feels better.
I know it all just seems like such a minor thing really, but it's changed my entire CZcams experience, and it also works on every other website with HTML-5 video that I've encountered. It's just 100% intuitive now to manipulate the video, usually several times as I'm viewing, so the flow suits my needs.
It's open-source and the code repository is here:
      github.com/igrigorik/videospeed
which also has some interesting information on the science of accelerated video playback, if you're interested in that sort of thing.
I don't know if it's available for other browsers. If not, I'm sure there's something like it that is.
I am absolutely in *no* way affiliated with the extension or its author. Just trying to help, which .. I hope this post has :)
P.S. Weird side effect (for me anyway).. after getting used to just default speeding up virtually every video, by tapping "S" once ..setting the vid to 1.25 speed, going back to regular speed makes it feel like people are talking in slow-mo mode .. lol!

I want to say that the comment about "sub atomic" seems to me a little hard to follow. The size scale of nm or nanomaterials can range from single digits - 100s nm depending on what you're referring to and how loosely you define nanomaterials. But then stating something is nanometer scale like an atom would be putting that into decimals of nm, such as a carbon atom being 0.3 nm. But breaking that down to subatomic , you are further making it into longer decimal places. In that regard, you can always refer to anything then in nm units.. but my point is where is your video drawing the line as nanometer scale if you're placing subatomic into that category? Angstroms are more often used when atomic and then picometers more often used when subatomic

Quantum dots have a special property: they reradiate light with slightly modified wavelength, so we used them with antibodies to highlight certain parts of a cell. Without quantum dots we would either have a completely black picture (if wavelength is invisible to the camera) or a completely white (if camera is sensitive to this light), but with them in certain areas (defined by antibodies) we used invisible light so we could see the picture. They are also used in TVs and cancer treatment, but I haven't applied them that way.

Sarif was right about one thing. It's in our nature to want to rise above our limits. Think about it. We were cold, so we harnessed fire. We were weak, so we invented tools. Every time we met an obstacle, we used creativity and ingenuity to overcome it. The cycle is inevitable... but will the outcome always be good? I guess that will depend on how we approach it. These past few months, I was challenged many times, but more often than not, didn't I try to keep morality in mind, knowing that my actions didn't have to harm others? Time and time again, didn't I resist the urge to abuse power and resources simply to achieve my goals more swiftly? In the past, we've had to compensate for weaknesses, finding quick solutions that only benefit a few. But what if we never need to feel weak or morally conflicted again? What if the path Sarif wants us to take enables us to hold on to higher values with more stability? One thing is obvious. For the first time in history, we have a chance to steal fire from the gods. To turn away from it now - to stop pursing a future in which technology and biology combine, leading to the promise of a Singularity - would mean to deny the very essence of who we are. No doubt the road to get there will be bumpy, hurting some people along the way. But won't achieving the dream be worth it? We can become the gods we've always been striving to be. We might as well get good at it.
