As a really good mandarin speaker I can hear the difference even between 1 3 and 6 even though mandarin only has one flat tone which is high but I si not hear any difference between 2 and 5
Another excellent useful lesson! 一定, so that’s for conjecture right? Like guessing assuming? Can I say it for like: You must be tired You must be hungry That must be really difficult
Mandarin speakers always say 多喝水 or 多吃菜, with 多 in front of the verb but in Cantonese you put 多啲 after the verb. That is the biggest takeaway for me personally.
