    Dan, be grateful you've even got cicadas! Here in Britain this year people all over the nation are saying how few butterflies there are, how few bees, no moths, birdlife so much less present. It's heartbreaking. If you have insects cherish them. x

    The funniest thing happened to me today.
    I was busy canning tomatoes, cleaning my house, just living and I had no pain. I got dressed for the day and my brain immediately created back pain. I just laughed and it calmed after a bit. What a validation this is pdp!

    For me it is not just thinking about symptoms that triggers them. It is thinking any negative thought about troubling situations in my life (mostly my parent's difficult situation). Immediately I feel shoulder/neck cramping. It happens really quick. Then I react to the physical symptoms, and boom--12 hours of pain. I am practicing becoming more aware of my thoughts as they occur so I can witness them and catch them before reacting emotionally (which then triggers my symptoms). I do this through meditation and just trying to be more aware/awake throughout the day.

    Hey Dan, hope you're well. I want to thank you for your videos and efforts. After some 12 years of chronic back pain and various other symptoms, I've finally recovered. Like you, I had known about Sarno from almost the beginning, but it took me a long while to really "get it". I'm not afraid anymore, and the body follows suit. When a symptom flares up, I just (calmly and lovingly) tell it to "catch up", because I know my mind is already in the right place and I'm ok. And the symptom goes away in a day or so. I would love to do a recovery story with you in about 6 months to spread the hope to everyone. Many thanks again, you've been a big piece of getting my life back.

    My pain behaves like PDP and i do believe it but there is also a rational physical explanation from the therapists who explain why it behaves that way too so it is a constant back and forth between these too sides. Maybe we sometimes try argue against PDP so something can persuade us otherwise because i really do want to believe the PDP . The doubt is frustrating. Appreciate your videos very much

    Dear Dan, new follower here - would greatly appreciate a reply if you have the time:
    So I'm just starting up on my TMS/PDP busting journey to solve my IBS-D once and for all, my question is, how should I approach it in terms of weeding off the medication?
    I take imodium/loperamide for anti-diarrheal fairly regularly.
    Should I just stop it immediately or gradually taper off of it?
    Many thanks for your help in advance

    Also am I doing this right I'm just telling the brain I'm not broken I'm safe you don't have to send me false alarms anymore I'm trying to calm my nervous system down what if I have unresolved emotions? And not no it. Can I still heal?

    • @tdm-wo7om
      @tdm-wo7om Před měsícem +2

      Who cares what side it is on? Don't read into things. From the new age Hindu perspective it the left side. Guess what in the tcm/Daoist side, the feminine energy is primairly on the right side. Don't try to analyze the why to death. Who cares, do what Dan is saying it works. know that you are safe. When things get to a point of trying to get you attention, shrug your shoulders take a deep calming breath, say to yourself, "oh well, this is a false alarm." Then ask " is this a fire?", no it is not. Go about your day. With time things will click and will improve a ton.

    I believe wholly in TMS but every thing you describe doesn’t apply to my symptoms. This applies to pain. There are so many other symptoms that this doesn’t apply to at all but you say it’s TMS. Maybe you all need to come up with assessments for non pain symptoms? Gastro issues, tinnitus, vertigo, etc
