Lovely place for a Q&A. And I get why you guys want to find a house on southern part of Fyn. The nature and even Svendborg is so great. And all the people I've met that lives down there have been really lovely and laid back.

Nice couple and a surprising combination as well Fr+Dk, also having the total different languages. Been there two times on holiday, I just love the space in Jutland and Fyn (Lundeborg). As I was not taught Danish at school (only German, French and English) and when we first entered DK, Rømø for an evening snack, I totally felt I was on holiday in a foreign country, couldn't read one single word from the menu list ;^) . Congratulations to your upcoming wedding. Greetings from Netherlands.

I have both an idea and a question in one-ish... Let me explain. I am Danish. We live in a time where values/ethics are somewhat under pressure. Russia and China are proving they are ready to use force to invade others nations and territories. Despite having lived and worked in Bruxelles for a while I am truly not understanding what goes on in France these years. Could it be an relatively easy way for you to make content and grow your channel if you tried to make a "continues series" inside this channel to help explaining French positions with your in depth knowledge?
Let me give examples of some of my views that I would like some cultural/political "insider" reflections on.
1/AFTER Russia illegally invaded Crimea France continued to seek a deal to build very modern warships to POOtin+s Russia and only last year when POOtin again decided to illegally attempt to invade and colonise Ukraine and after considerable pressure from the entire free Western world did France stop the delivery of these warships to POOtin, months before they were about to be handed over (with a lot of technology Russia could not/cant produce themselves by the way). French corporations have, in a free world comparison, been slow to understand the short and long term necessity to pull out of Russia and isolate the nation. It seems like France politically and French corporations right now are in a suicidal brand image destruction situation where their only point of view seems to be the supercapitalistic valueless angle that any money in our pockets today override any consequences tomorrow. A nation that claims to have the word and notion of "solidarity" as one of their 3 guiding words I am more than baffled and honestly, disgusted. Just 1-2 weeks ago Macron sucked up to Xi in a way that directly contradicts the rest of the Western worlds deep worry for China illegal aggression that also follows a long consistent line of breaking the UN charter. They stole Tibet, builds artificial islands they militarise on others territory, 2 incidents last 2 years where they killed Indian border guards unprovoked, they right now have 1,2 million Uighur´s incarcerated without trial or reason for "re-educational purposes", they broke their agreement with UK and the population of Hongkong about allowing "1 nation 2 systems" to co-exist, they are increasingly violating Taiwan´s borders and come with serious threats of a military attack and colonisation of Taiwan.
To me it seems France in every way are selling out and are placing themselves in a situation that can create deep problems for France many years to come in relation to their trustworthiness in the free world. I REALLY would like someone to try to, not make sense of it, because it makes no sense, but at least give an explanation with your French insights that provides an explanation.
2/ There are a decisive battle going on in our own backyard. Russia have illegally attacked a free independent democratic neighbour against the UN charter and the Budapest memorandum Russia signed. Since the last time French pension age were raised the French living age have risen around 5 years. WHY, while innocent Ukrainians are being killed daily, are the French people setting their nation on fire and under financial pressure protesting a rise of pension age with 2 years to an age that still will be much lower than the European pension age? At a time where innocent people are dying because of a human rights abusing dictator it are more than difficult for me to understand how the French population can look themselves in the mirror. The perspective with the inhumane deep suffering and destruction going on close by, they project themselves as anything but showing solidarity, nor having ability to empathise. Please try to help square this circle with your French insight for me (and hopefully others)
It are very important for me that you understand that I am not asking for your own political views, nor blaming you for anything in relation to what goes on in France. I am simply trying to understand better what goes on in France right now, because France simply have "lost me" on so many levels last years and I have personally given up, making sense of it on my own. Insightful communication and explanations from a person that have lived here for a fair while now and plan to settle permanently might be a path? You could maybe provide the pieces, I and maybe many other, lack in our puzzle, to better understand.
Sometimes I think/speculate Macron´s position simply are a country and value traitor-ing action that primitively "as another Trump/Murdoch character" are trying to "fill his secret Swiss bank account" with kick backs from anywhere possible and that off course could be one possible explanation. But that does not explain the lack of positions the French population demonstrates. It also do not explain the French corporations extremely shortsighted position that they want to keep sending their goods to a nation currently killing thousands of innocents monthly.
I REALLY need someone with a qualified cultural insight to explain this to me in a way that I cannot find or get by the French media nor the Scandinavian.
Again. This type of content would not cost you, nor take a lot of time filming, but still maybe help to grown your channel, while optimally providing a platform for international understanding and communication.

but aside from the joke, I would definitely recommend it to all immigrants who would like to know a little about why Denmark is the way it is culturally today....
it is an epic story about a fictional village in danmak and takes place between 1929-1947…
apart from the fact that it is a really good story, it can give a good insight into why Danish society is the way it is today...
