    Great video, and really cute step stool for anyone who has little guys around, or is just short (like me!) !
    Special request: how about building an ergonomic angled footrest for under the desk? Online, they are all ridiculously expensive or just garbage.

    • @SpecificLove7
      @SpecificLove7  Před 2 lety

      Thank you MissBeans. A simple footrest sounds like a good idea.
      I will definitely have to put that on the list.

    Bonus points: if you hang it with french cleats, it's suddenly a two tier shelf!

    Great build, i'm a bit surprised though that you didn't use some pocket holes on some of those joints.

      I really thought about using the pocket screws but decided since most people would have easier access to glue just to go with it.

    You don't have 2 use brands, but why not? I would rather have more support on a step than not. Great job/ new project

    Was this broadcast to Botswana first? I don’t think most wood workers are prohibited by $12 lumber cost 😊

  • @williamwilson3145

    I guess if you had them you could use some pocket hole screws.

    • @SpecificLove7
      @SpecificLove7  Před 2 lety +1

      That could be an option as well, I only used glue this time to help out more people.

  • @doozerakapuckfutin
    @doozerakapuckfutin Před 2 lety

    Could you use pocket screws instead of glue ?

    • @SpecificLove7
      @SpecificLove7  Před 2 lety

      That should work if you use enough screws. I almost did it that way but then realized a lot of people would not have the right tools so I just used glue.

    I really don't know whether he's going to sell it or not, but I'd get Woody Hyezmar's Woodworking Bible before he decides. It has some good projects, others not so good, but it's something worth to go'ogle if you want some cool ideas.

    No! Not the miter saw! I lost he tip of my finger cutting a rip on mine. Blade spun the piece and my finger into the blade.
