      @@The_Chairperson As John said, it's an Oxymoron. Terribly/Awfully are often used for emphasis. For example, "That's terribly kind of you" and "Oh, thanks awfully". More famous examples would be terms like 'passive aggressive' or 'deafening silence".
      Usually, you'll find oxymoronic statements omitted, however, either for clarity or to remain concise.

      Ronnie C does reveal the village name as "Nether Edgeley", which is a lot like Nether Alderley in Cheshire (Edgeley is a part of Stockport, once in Cheshire, which isn't quite as posh but was at one time). It's places like that they're taking the rise out of here...

    I wish I hadn’t watched any of these Two Ronnie clips. It has tarnished my memory of them.
    Some of these sketches are just ludicrous and belong to the past when anything that had a laughter track was deemed funny.
