I heard that rev just recruited lots and lots of newbies recently on 14 oct. I think they generally recruit people in huge numbers in one go and then maybe the recruitment gets slower for sometime. So now there are many newcomers suddenly on that platform and not much work. Almost no work. Also, the holiday season generally has lesser work it seems. So do you have any idea when we should apply to get accepted?

Hi, I hope you have time to answer this inquiry. I took the exam and based on their guidelines, if the speaker's grammar is wrong, it must not be changed. On the first sentence of the transcription exam, it says "Thanks for your interest in rev". However, when the speaker says it, it somehow have an "s" in the end of the word "interest". Do you think it must be typed as "interest", or "interests", like "Thanks for your interests in Rev.". That's not gramatically correct but that's how it sounds. Thanks!

So when the speaker mistakenly says "consistence" instead of "consistent"- We should type consistence?

Hi, I hope you can help. In your opinion, is it easier to pass and be accepted by Rev than it is to be accepted by TranscribeMe? Is the Rev style guide/formatting less complicated than TranscribeMe as one thing I did not like about TM was the different use of different types of brackets for tagging etc. Lastly, does Rev give you the opportunity to keep taking the test until you are accepted through practice? Thanks for any advice. Libby

Vpn users are also supposed to give their residential address. Then what should we do?

Hello Ma'am , a friend of mine did sign in to Rev as a captionaire and she did take the sample audio test but they told her that she will get to know a few days later weather she is acceptable to do the job or not. Its been 4 days and there has been no update yet .I just want to know if they do this same thing if we join as a transcriber ? Will they make us wait or can we immediately start transcribing ?
