@xyz Their videos are usually around 6-7 mins long, and they pay around $0.5-$1 depending on difficulty. If you get promoted to Reviewer, you start getting paid around $0.8-$1.5 per audio. You can choose and cancel jobs without any consequences, whatsoever. You can also get promoted to Proofreader and Quality Checker. The best part, I think, about Scribie is that you can withdraw any amount (min. $1) at anytime, and it gets to your PayPal in less than 6hrs, but their pay is not encouraging.
I am working as a researcher and so up until today I use to do transcribing manually with so much difficulty, specially when speakers speak in more than one language. I have just listened to the first 6:41 minutes of this video, and I am already impressed. Going on the assumption that the remainder of this video and all the other videos you seem to have created are of equal quality, I feel confident they will be an invaluable resource to my efforts to enter into the transcription business (as a retiree). You may find yourself curious how I might be able to glean so much information from such a short sample. I retired, after 32 years, from the role of a popular and highly rated instructor of various academic as well as technology-related subjects. I have taught at a few universities in my home state. I am confident you are well aware that the longer you do what we do, the better you get at it, and that is why I was so quick to see your skills on display. You annunciate your words very clearly and deliver the lesson at a comfortable pace and volume level. These skills combine with the smile I hear in your voice to make you a top-notch presenter/instructor. I have nothing but high praise for your video(s). I intend to watch all of them eventually, but first, I want to thank you for taking the time to create, edit and publish them. I know from personal experience the amount of effort involved with doing this. I see from the comments that numerous others have also seen the tremendous level of talent you have honed to perfection. Thank you for this. I got everything I needed in the first few minutes. What I did differently that will save time and help provide cleaner audio for Google to hear is that I set the default microphone on my computer to my "speakers". On some computers this may also be called "what you hear". You can change the default microphone through the "recording device" settings menu in Windows. This allows for whatever audio is playing inside the computer to also be what is being recorded. I hit play on the video in my computer, then hit record on Google Docs, and Docs transcribed the audio from the video directly without having to repeat it or play it from an external device.
Without any exaggeration, I have a very trusting attitude to all your videos and on the basis of your videos I draw my conclusion create account or not, work or not and ect on this websites. Unfortunately, today there are a lot of videos of such a context on CZcams, for example "Top 5 transcriber jobs" and the usual information is simply copied there, which I can also find and read without much difficulty. And you can not know this site is scam or not. In your channel, you really share your experiences, show all the necessary information and even give advice somewhere. I think this is very important. Thanks for the work you've done. 👍

I just tried my first test, and it went bad the audio was so bad I couldn't understand anything, and the file didn't let me convert it so I wasn't able to edit it. I'm gonna keep learning and ill try again when I'm ready this time.

Any tips on how to pick jobs on websites like QA world. I use the auto refresh extension, however an auto clicker will really help to pick jobs faster. The job queue comes in for hardly a millisecond before people click it. Transcribing seems to be easier than fetching a call by clicking it. I am sure you would have a solution for this Marie. Keep up the good work!!

It is still possible to download the file using Bulk Media Downloader, but if the company doesn't allow you to do it, then you can use your own discretion. I'm not here to say what is or isn't allowed, just teaching you four steps to do it if you choose to for whatever platform you work for. (Rev isn't the only platform). Some people do transcription jobs that they are hired for on Fiverr, Upwork, etc, or other platforms where they send you the audio file directly.

You could also use a software such as OBS, or anything else that could give you a virtual mic that you could feed a audio clip onto.
you can use a virtual audio cable instead of doing unreliable method because they are not the best for everyone.
