In Loiter and Alt Hold modes, the motor will continue spinning until the throttle reaches 50%. It adheres to the value set in MOT_SPIN_MIN. If you maintain the throttle stick at 0, the motor will eventually stop spinning, leading to disarming.
In Mission planner navigate to > Initial Setup > Flight Mode. Here, you can select your preferred modes. On your radio, designate a 3-position switch to serve as a flight mode switch.
