The book of 'signs' means you will get hints not mandatorily the exact answer of your questions/query. Thus, take the hints apply your own logic and find the solution and follow that.
@Kamthuibo except we are not waiting for signs, like dr. Zakir said there is already signs in Quran. I think you understand it wrong. No muslim wishes to witness the end of the world and its signs because it will be a very scary and testing time, also don’t take the bible as a credible source of knowledge. Go do some research into the council of Niseah, the day a bunch of your christian priests/bisschop’s came together to decide what was the word of god and what not, so basically the bible you are reading today was created by humans who decided what was god’s word who just wanted to make a profit out of the people following them. Do your research before making these dumb statements without having knowledge about the origin of your own religion…

The East and the Greeks very well knew long before the 600AD that Earth was round.
1. Eratosthenes(240BC) was the first westerner to find the circumference of the earth, implying that the earth is round.
Eratosthenes(276 BC-194 BC) was a Greek scholar, scientist who around 240 BC set out to try and find the circumference of the Earth. He first had to assume the Earth was a sphere. He had heard that during the day of the summer solstice the sun at midday was casting no shadow in a well in the town of Syene but he observed the sun was casting a slight shadow in Alexandria. They used the standard measurement tool for distance called a stadion. Which was taken to be 185 meters or 1/10 of a mile. He had someone walk from Alexandria to Syene to measure the distance which was 5000 stadia. About 925 kilometers. He knew certain facts and made some brilliant deductions to come up with a distance of 25,000 miles!. The actual circumference is 24,901 miles!
2. Aryabhatta : Indian astrologer mathematician in his book Aryabhatiya ( 510 AD) gave the Earth's circumference with an error of just 0.27% .
2. The East including the Indian subcontinent and China always knew that Earth was round. Indians called it bhugol in their Rigveda (1800BC)
The word भू is used to denote Earth. It is famously called भूगोल (Bhoogola) meaning “The sphere that is Earth”.
The Rig Veda ( 1800BC) says,
चक्राणासः परीणहं पर्थिव्या हिरण्येन मणिना शुम्भमानाः |
न हिन्वानासस्तितिरुस्त इन्द्रं परि सपशो अदधात सूर्येण ||
Adorned with jewels, they encircled the earth, but Indra overcame them with the rising sun.
This encircling shows a round path which could be around a spherical shape.
Another prominent verse:-
मध्ये समस्ताण्डस्य भूगोलो व्योम्नि तिष्ठति
In the midst of the Universe, the spherical Earth stays.
Even in the later periods, various texts claim that Earth is a sphere.
न वै महाराज भगवतो मायागुणविभूतेः
काष्ठां मनसा वचसा वाधिगन्तुमलं
विबुधायुषापि पुरुषस्तस्मात्प्राधान्येनैव
भूगोलकविशेषं नामरूपमानलक्षणतो व्याख्यास्याम
श्रीमद् भागवतम् स्कन्धं 5, अध्यायं 16, श्लोकं 4
The rishi said: 'Oh great King, there are endless transformations of the material qualities [the gunas] of the Supreme Lord. Even though not even a person living as long as Brahma is capable of putting it into words or fully understand this,
I nevertheless shall try to explain in terms of names, forms and proportions that what from the unmanifest has manifested [as Bhoogolakam, our terrestrial world]
Sreemad Bhagavatham Canto 5, Chapter 16, Verse 4
मूर्धन्यर्पितमणुवत्सहस्रमूर्ध्नो
भूगोलं सगिरिसरित्समुद्रसत्त्वम् ।
आनन्त्यादनिमितविक्रमस्य भूम्नः
को वीर्याण्यधिगणयेत्सहस्रजिह्वः
श्रीमद् भागवतम् स्कन्धं 5, अध्यायं 25, श्लोकं 12
Whoever, however many tongues he would have, can enumerate the Supreme Lord His potencies? For His groundless powers are immeasurable. This Earth with its mountains, trees, oceans and beings is nothing but an atom fixed on one hood of Ananta, He who has thousands of hoods.
Sreemad Bhagavatham, Canto 5, Chapter 25, Verse 12
It is also explained in the Sreemad Bhagavatham and the Vishnu Puranam in the Varaha Avatar chapters of Earth being a sphere.
It can be seen clearly how the Vedas and the Puranas refer to Earth using words using Bhoogola, Khagola etc which all focus on गोल (Gola) meaning Sphere.

The problem with religion is that it stops at creator and never asks who created creator or what exactly it is.
That's not a good question actually.....because god is beyond our dimensional thinking ...so they can use this card ....we should rather ask them if saying earth is spehrical is proof that quan wrote by creator. 1400 yrs ago then not only one but in many hindu scriptures earth is said oblate spherical before more than 2000yrs ago not only shape but distance bw earth and sun and moon and their common ratio 108 and ancient temple much more older than 2000yrs ago are perfect example of architectural science....but hindus don't claim it to be direct creation of god ...but they say our ancestors were very intelligent and scientific....so how you Mr ZN saying that saying earth is spejrical is proof of a religious god alaa

What are the fruits of islam?

If anything, Islam can only hasten the extinction of the human species in the process of evolution. And, no sane person can thank these madcaps for that.
The first victim of Islam is Islam itself, the 2nd victims of Islam are the Muslims, 3rd victims of Islam are women, 4th victims of Islam is humanity and 5th victims of Islam are infidels/kafirs.

Adam lived about 6000 years ago. He is popularly believed to be the first man created by God on Earth. However, this view is wrong. The world has passed through different cycles of creation, and civilization, and Adam (peace be upon him), the progenitor of the present human race, is only the first link in the present cycle, and not the very first man in God’s creation.
It does not, however, mean that the race, which lived before Adam (peace be upon him), was entirely swept away before he was born. Most likely, there had remained a small degenerated remnant of the old race and Adam (peace be upon him) was one of them. God then selected him to be the progenitor of a new race and the precursor of a new civilization. Created, as it were, out of the dead, he represented the dawn of a new era of life.
Allah has said, “And when thy Lord said to the angels, I am about to place a vicegerent in the earth, they said, Wilt Thou place therein such as will cause disorder in it, and shed blood? We glorify Thee with Thy praise and extol Thy holiness. He answered, I know what you know not.” (2:31)
In this verse, God has used the word khalifah for Adam (peace be upon him). Khalifah in Arabic means a successor. It is, therefore, clear that men had existed and lived on earth before Adam (peace be upon him) whom he succeeded.
In short, the Holy Qur’an speaks of that Adam (peace be upon him) who was appointed as Khalifah and the first Prophet of God, and who was raised for the guidance of mankind. God appointed him a prophet and taught him the knowledge and made him the leader of men. It is worthwhile to mention that in Islam there is not concept of Instant creation. God was the guiding force behind all his creation in all stages of development.
Science has proven that human race existed even 200k years before.

Adam AS was not the first human, he was the first Khalifa. Thus there has to be people present for for the Khalifa.

Chapter 79 Verse 30 says, "As for the earth, He spread it out as well".
Chapter 71 verse 19 says, "And Allâh has made for you the earth a wide expanse."
Chapter 78 verse 6 says, "Have We not made the earth as a bed,"
Chapter 15 Verse 9 says, "And the earth We have spread out, and have placed therein firm mountains, and caused to grow therein all kinds of things in due proportion."
