true man, I've been playing division 2 from day 1 didn't know I was missing on something so important as field of view
Nice but does it really effect your acual speed in the game or it's just visual effects
@@ahmadyousif7177 it's probably just visual, like when driving a car if you look to the front it doesn't seems to go too fast but if you look at trees to the side it will look like you're going much faster
@@ahmadyousif7177 It's just visual. You look like you're going faster because the camera's view is wider and therefore slightly stretched. It's similar to what's known as the Starfield Illusion.
I saw no difference in the field of view, due to the brilliant idea to spam the aim out of synch.

Downvoted just for that. Well, that, and the fact that half of the settings are shit you would adjust anyway unless this was literally the very first PC game you have ever played.

Man, I'm so glad I found this video. Had division for a while but haven't really learned how to be great at it yet
The mouse sensitivity settings are personal preference and hardware dependant. No two mice are the same, and not everyone can handle high sensitivity.
Virtually all of this is personal preference. But, then, that's what most settings are for.
Very true, it all depends on hardware which is personal and differs for each person. But yes everyone should make some adjustments to get the best out of the game. However if you adjust to the limits then you will become and look like an Olympic sprinter running with an 80lb kit ! Sometimes it spoils immersion, and also be wary of the fish eyed look when adjusting field of view. It will always be a mix of settings that increases game playability but looks ânormalâ and creates a sense of immersion.

Best change of setting for me was disabling the animation when you switch to your special weapon. Saves just a little time when you're in a fight and need to use it without all the fancy switching đ
u mean the UI animation? disabling that doesnt affect the switch speed
@@toilet5217 No he means the orange screen glow that appears when you switch to your special weapon - Grenade/Rocket launcher, Minigun etc.

This is amazingly helpful thank you for making this video.
You forgot "turn off vibration" on controller for console player's. One of the best things you can do. Feels strange at first, but it really improves your aim.
And it helps with battery life too.

I turn off to save on batteries too.
I have it turned off because the vibrations make it difficult to aim and with the nerve damage in my hand its hard enough to play the game without the vibrations let alone with it
I turn it off so the noise donât wake up my babies đđ

Recently came back to Div 2 , also a Div 1 player. Of these tips i had 6 of 11 and i agreed with most of your recommendations. I liked you commentary - clear - concise - and the screen was clear about where the various options were and why in your opinion someone might consider this change. I really appreciate this because I had these all set but if I'm not mistaken they get reset after updates. Since coming back I've noticed many of the issues you brought up such sticking to cover, slow running, and poor FOV.
A quick edit. After playing for 5 minutes with the proper settings it's like a new game.

Speaking of settings. I always wanted one of you guys to do play throughs with absolutely no HUD. I started doing that in D1, and have never had it on for D2. O
It definitely adds a challenge as well as makes communication and build diversity in group play a must.
You should try it out and do a vid on it sometime

For me, the only default settings I needed to change was the sensitivity, FOV and FOVWA. All the other settings are default to what you advise.

Thanks for this. I'm usually very picky about going through every damn setting in options, in every game, but I didn't for this game for some reason. Some of these are pretty important. Just started playing this game today.
One setting you didn't touch on but I see you have enabled is the 180 turn and run on left stick press while holding down. I think it was default in division 1, but I literally just realized they had it the other day as a setting in 2. I based a lot of tactical gameplay off it in division one and it seems to work almost as good in 2, or I've gotten a little rusty with it lol (ie quick turn and then hold the aim button almost simultaneously and you get a stupid fast switch to aiming behind you, or combine with cover or parkour and you can quickly wind up in a different area of cover) I used to have one of the elite paddles set to run so I could switch off with it quickly, but cant for the life of me remember how it all felt seamless anymore. Lol

The toggle to run is a big help, my older mech keyboard's shift died due to an old game not having that option, switch gave way after a year. Saves constantly holding it down.

Iâve made of couple these changes. Mainly the aim sensitivity and the movement around corners. The auto sprint, Iâm going to try. But I donât spend a bunch of time sprinting. Iâll see how it works.

Means you only played Division 1 beta. Everyone who has played div1 for more than 5 mins knows about these settings. Granted you got Div 2 i would suspect that you never installed it and played it.

yo, that field of view increase helped so much thanks.
I made these changes a few days ago and my sniping in PVE was vastly improved. I cannot wait to see how well these work with the Expansion and what my gameplay will look like when I create another character.

Super helpful especially in the field of view department. Most of the other settings are already set by default. The only things that I've changed to your specs were the FoV, the sensitivity, the connection bar and the friend skills. Overall thanks for the tip plus I've preordered already on PS4 and got the Tactical Response outfit.
Did you get the free boost to level 30/gs 500 with the pre-order on PS4? I wonder if we will have to wait until March 3...or if the complimentary boost is only for PC and Xbox?
@@bigbri4090 I only got the uniform. The shotgun that i get is at lvl.40 but any item that i get now until the arrival of the update is going to be sold or dismantled because there's going to be 2 different libraries. One for 0-30 and 31-40. Your current gear will be worthless once the update arrives because a lot of stats will change and one of them is the removal of DTE. There's another vid from Skillz that tells about your current gear and the libraries.
@@bigbri4090 On SotG they said that if you're having troubles with the preorders for PS4 then don't worry that any bonus will come around later when it launches. They addressed the issue so there's nothing to worry about.
