      Hi Dmitrii, thanks for the great video! There is one point that I'm personally dealing with now finalising the contract, it seems almost all landlords request to be paid in USD, but is it standard to only have USD in the contract or also GEL equivalent?

    • @dpashutskii
      @dpashutskii  Před 2 lety +2

      @@Freddymars I think the standard is to only have USD in the contract.
      Lari wasn't stable for years so they're using USD for big purchases and rent.
      Right now actually Lari is getting stronger towards dollars so it's better for you to have USD price :)

    I really liked this video Dimitrii. You gave a good overview and some nice points to orient yourself as a beginner.
    I am wondering, is the internet in Jikia house stable enough to do livestreams and video calls? Do you share the internet with the people in the housing via wlan or do have access to your own router?
    Keep doing what you do, its inspirational and informative. Thumbs up.

      Thank you for watching and kind words :)
      Internet in Jikia is really stable and good.
      Although, we had a bad router in the beginning and I asked our landlord to replace it and he did. It was perfect since. No disconnects, no high ping.
      I often have video calls via Zoom or Slack and don't have any issues. I don't do livestreams but I'm sure it should be fine.
      I don't share my Internet connection with anyone. And just in case I changed Wi-Fi password 😅

Perhaps the apartments here are modern, and sometimes luxurious, but the so-called urban "developing" destroyed the once beautiful quarter, which was previously also the area of the so-called "Soviet intellectual class". Today it's a real mess, especially for car owners that always stuck in traffick. Vera is much better, but "Sololaki" and "Mtatsminda" are athe parts of Tbilisi, where you can live and discover the real Tbilisi.
