    Very informative video! Also a good reminder that 600/800/1000 dollars for a place, even in Vake or Vera, is a total rip off (please expats, don't spoil the market for others).

    • @iraklaaaa
      @iraklaaaa Před 2 lety +1

      It's not good to talk about stuff that you have no idea about. 600$+ is an average cost for a GOOD apartment in Vake area specifically. 1000$ is expensive and the apartment should be a top class for you to pay this money. However, as I said people pay 600-700-800-900$ for just decent apartments in Vake. Including locals. I myself am renting apartments for 3 years+ and have never paid less than 650$ in Vake. What about this apartment shown in the video, I consider it as a pretty low quality one, would not live there myself (don't trying to insult anybody, everybody has his own taste) and the area looks terrible, must be somewhere in the suburbs.

    I wonder where did you find this apartment, man... It looks not nice and the area must be somewhere extremely far from the city center, very ugly. No wonder why you pay 200$. I'm renting a decent apartment in Vake area, paying 700$ and I'm a local so no, I haven't been ripped off lol Just for the contrast you could have shown some decent apartments too. I myself would not live in this one shown in the video, nor would I recommend it to my friends, not to mention that the area looks like it's somewhere in the suburbs... 😂😂😂 You sound like a Georgian housing agent, Irakli, $700 is way too much for an apartment in Georgia, I am afraid. The area has more Soviet buildings than most areas and this was in Nadzaladebi, there are other apartments as lovely as this in Isani, Avlabari, and Chugureti as well. I am fascinated with Soviet buildings and that might not be everyone's cup of tea, I could have simply rented a newer apartment for around $250-$300, mate 😂

      @@RJinspire Thanks for your response :) I'm not a housing agent, never was and hopefully won't be in the future either :) Yeah as I said, it's not my cup of tea - I would never consider living in Nadzaladevi nor in Isani or Varketili for instance... I doubt those locations will fit the expats/tourists too. While it is very difficult to me to understand your fascination with the Soviet style buildings, I do understand that. However as I said, you have a different perspective and I was simply trying to show you/others the other side - I live in the city center already for 30 years, am renting decent modern apartments for 650-700$ for a few years now. A close friend of mine is renting an amazing place for his big family in Vake for 1000$, it's a close to luxury apartment but as you might already know, prices in Vake are totally different than in other locations (rightly so). Just met a neighbor Today who is a foreigner renting a place in the same house where I live, it's a russian couple paying 800$.
