I made homemade biscuits with sausage gravy too last week just like my momma. Sometimes she would add fresh diced tomatoes instead of sausage. Just cook them down a little befor adding your flour. Wait a minute then add your milk! This sure took me back to those sweet southern memories! Thankyou!
2 women came in our feed store approx. 10 years ago. One looked just like Paula Dean. A young man/neighbor, who was in culinary school, just so happened to be in the store at exact time so he asked! Are you Paula Dean? She said oh nooo! I get that all the time, and laughed, but we just love coming in these old country stores and just looking around. My husband said they even went down our junk aisle digging in boxes and chatting about things they were finding. Meanwhile our neighbor had gone out and looked at their tag. Same county where Paula Dean resides!!! Imagine that! We found out later Paula Dean had been at a book signing at Turnrow Books in neighboring town that very same day. Hmmmm! I could have kicked myself for not going in to work with my husband that day. I missed it alll but I assure you I would have been able to tell if she was or not😅. She post short recipes on youtube early nearly every morning here on youtube. Love and best dishes. I never miss one!

Two years ago I bought a sewing machine for 20 bucks and I just now got it out to use. It’s a brother project runaway limited edition and it runs great. It’s only missing a little over the top of the….. Bobbin. Funny, sometimes, how it takes you a minute to remember stuff.❤

I hope this is the end of all the “fine” tuning🤣❤️. My cuts are wide and deep. We had family style dining and our future daughter in law ordered. We ate a little bit of everything; catfish, broccoli casserole, chicken fried steak, fried chicken, pulled pork and banana pudding. It was a fun and lovely trip. More to come.❤️❤️🦔🤠
