That scene where Gohan catches the destructo discs was absolutely bonkers even in the real world. The first time me and my friends saw this the whole room was silenced, no one uttered a single word because never in the history of dragon ball has someone stopped the disc with their bare hands, it's everyone has either dodged it or in frieza's case cut him in half. A disc coming from cell is like a million times stronger than frieza's imagine Gohan catching them like a frisbee. That moment bro was just pure badass.

the most badass part about the kamehameha of gohan against cell's is how casually he said it without making the pose until the last second. Meaning he didn't even charge his kamehameha barely at all he just instantly did it at blank range.

The Dlc is the future timeline before Trunks uses the time machine to go back in time to figure out how to defeat the androids and meeting Cell. Him going back in time to defeat the androids is the end of the Cell arc and not part of the DLC.

The music is so good in Japanese for the kamehameha clash (1st one) . I can vividly remember it, I doubt anyone will remember whatever was playing here.

This is I believe the original English Funamation dub, so it should be Bruce Falconer's score in this dub.
While some prefer the Japanese score, there are also fans out there that fondly remembers Bruce's score well.

This section is an absolute joy in the team four star abridged, they did all of the characters justice and with great humor. A must see when you've gotten past the original version
Some infos because of Ending! Dragon Ball Z was supposed to end after Freezer fight and goku should die with the planet as a hero but fans back then wanted that the show continued so Akira wrote the Cell Saga and yes the Cell Saga should had End to with Goku dying the Hero death but guess what the Fans wanted more thats why there are some plot holes!
That is not exactly true. Dragon ball came out in weekly chapters, there weren't any instant messages back then, for fans to complain, logically, they'd have to know before hand what was going on. This rumor is sort of a myth passed down through the fandom.
No there is no truth to any of that, there is no proof anywhere that Akira Toriyama wanted to end if after Frieza or Cell. The only thing we know is that Akira Toriyama chose to callnthe later half "Dragon Ball Z" because Z is the last letter in the alphabet and DBZ as a whole, no particular moment, was meant to be the last.
Even after Cell saga Toriyama chose to continue more with Gohan as the new MC. It's only in Buu saga that Toriyama wanted to end it citing he was just going to draw whatever he wanted.
the studio wanted the continuation because it sold so well in the eastern world. they didnt give a crap about the whole west.

there is a story about cell. akira (the creator) came up with cell but the studio didnt like the first one so they asked for a second one and aswell they didnt like that one and then akira designed the last perfect cell
Incase nobody else has recommended it, after watching the end of the Cell saga, you could watch Dragon Ball Z Abridged. It's the whole dbz story up to the end of the cell saga and it's fucking hilarious.

In the Japanese Dub, I think this scene is completely silent between both characters. Only the narrator speaks "Cell has finally experienced true fear" or something.
Cell saying "fight me" while he's taking punches, is equivalent to someone saying "i'm hungry" half way through a foot long sub.
That's not why cell said that. Cell said, "fight me" as "attack you little coward".

I forget how long this is in original Z sometimes. Because it's not as long in Kai I think? Because in Z the whole saga is like 30, in Kai it's like 15 or something.

@@sockfreak2003 The creator of DB said it and said that he’d never bring cell back because he’s broken/would be too OP because he can learn any of the things from the fighters he has in him just by contact whether it’s moves or forms. So if golden frieza or even frieza black were to make contact with him or ssb goku. UI goku or UE vegeta or gohan and piccolo’s new forms. He’d be able to get them all and simultaneously. And all he’d have to do is either make contact with them or it be used on him like a move or instant transmission, which is why he said he created an entirely different cell for the movie rather than resurrecting the actual cell

I donr remember where I read this and I cant remember if its true, As a saiyan goes through the levels, i.e SS 1, SSJ 2, SSJ 3; the more for lack of better words, "phycopathic" he/she becomes.
That's why Goku and Gohan stayed as SS 1 for a week. Not only for endurance but to keep those "phyco" tendencies in check.

For me it never made any sense that cell came back in his perfect form. And it does make 0 sense since he needed Android 18 to achieve that, the whole coming back part sure you can explain that since he can regenerate like crazy whatever, but at most he would come back stronger due to his sayian cells but in his 2nd form not final one which i'm sure it still wouldn't be strong enough probably still weaker than his perfect one.
It's because his cells retained the 'memory' of having 18, and so he could regenerate his perfect power even though she was no longer a part of his being.

My boy the cell saga was the supposed ending but toryama got so much hate for making Gohan the main charecter so he had to continue the manga with a new arc that pushed goku back into the spotlight
