Oh my gosh I still have my albums, Sweet Judy Blue eyes. My favorite group among others ❤ so much ❤ great music back in the 60s and 70s.
You're so right about that! I treasure my 200+ record albums and still play them on my old stereo.
Last time I heard CSN&Y was at the Bill Graham Memorial in Golden Gate Park 1991. It was a beautiful sunny November day and their unmistakable harmony made the day for me and a million other people that showed up. Thank You!
This is an amazing album just love CSN could listen to them all day & all night….🙏😊✌️❤️
Oh my god, David Crosby has no filters at all. So awesome.
🤣🤣I'd posted those exact words, yesterday, with much love to one of my most respected, favorite individuals in this world, David "Croz" Crosby. Miss you, already, brother, THANK YOU for just being YOU💕💕💕🎸🎤🎼Rest in peace🙏
No, he never did... which is what I loved about him!
It's here, BTW... czcams.com/video/OInusZCIJpQ/video.html
😂🧔🏼♀️🦶🏽👄🤘🏽🙃😇🤣
What a fabulous album! One of my all time favorites.
The blend of their voices, as always, gives me chills🤗🤗😘😘😘
My girlfriend held a surprise 16th birthday party for me and gave me this album
A week later I hitchhiked up to Yasgur's Farm and saw the band
Helluva summer
Nice of her . Did you Marry her?
@@normatible9795
no
she married good friend of mine 'in 72
i wasn't ready to marry ANYONE !! at the young age of 19
@@nickyl9040 SO you are the "child of God" that they came upon and you told them you were going to Yasgur's farm......cool...
@@nickyl9040 it would be interesting to know the rest of the story....kind of sounds like you asked your good friend to marry her because you weren't ready,,, was she ready ? anyway, sounds like a good story......and a good friend....
Hi Nicky! I was there at Woodstock ‘69! I was 17 yrs old Future Nurse of America! I worked in one of the Freak Out tents! I am retired now and a grandma! I guess you could say I had a long, lustrous career also😂! Those were the days my friend, we thought they’d never end! Still a hippie at heart, I never gave up my values! Peace, Love, Balance and Harmony, Cathy RN retired
When I leave this earth I will go with them playing wooden ships and southern cross as bid the world goodbye to the next journey ..... they inspired me to play guitar now for over 45 years....thank you friends.
Thanks for posting this. It's like a reunion with old cherished friends. I will never part with my vinyl albums. Your music was my escape to bliss. Cheers!
Crazy good music. Fantastic story behind the cover art. Lovely photos of Joni in the video. What a time.
Still thrills me to the 'marrow'
The greatest band in the world nobody could match him rest in peace David
Originally bought this album thru Record Club of America circa ‘69-‘70 get 10 records for a penny agree to buy 3 at regular price. Was mesmerized by this record. Songs. Cover pics and inside photo. Still listen today but on CD. Sadly sold off my record collection in 2019.
Loved Crosby Stills and Nash..and Young..this music was the best period of my life
What a great story about the paper for the album cover
1st album I ever bought. I was in high school. I played guitar. missed a lot of school playing along to this over and over
such power.
One of my first LPs, too. We had good taste back then!
Thank you Gentlemen for your fabulous music. I can't thank you enough.💝💝💝
I'm very sorry & sad about David.🌹 RIP
I'M sad & sorry for you both Stephen & Graham.❣️❣️❣️
Still have the album and the cover it came in.
Haven't played it since I've got everything on digital now, but it's still in my collection.
I would like to say thank you to Cass , I don't think there would have been a Crosby Stills and Nash without Mama Cass. Crosby Stills and Nash . I never heard a sound like that before .
Nice. Thanks for this. Thoroughly entertained. Crosby was funny! Nobody gets to stare at album covers today like we did then. This one was particularly iconic.
Such a good point looking at the album covers was half the fun
You really looked at them closely when you were using them to clean a bag of weed!
You mean Nash
Where are you going now my friend, where will you be tomorrow...
One of my all time favs... & glad I still got!
this is amazing...i always assumed that house was way out in the country somewhere....and actually it was in the middle of a city and a busy thouroghfare.....and I have never been confused about the names .......
Some things are just.....meant to be & I say thank you Lord!
I regret not being able to see you guys in concert
Just love these clips of CS&N, in there own element... SAY IT LIKE IT IS! R.I.P..CROZ....YOU OL' HIPPY to the end. PEACE & LOVE ❤️
Nash looks like he is so in love that he could care less about what is going on. Yea how long did that relationship
Last.
A couple of years, I think.
Thanks for posting!
Though Neil Young plays and sings on the 2nd album , truth be told , the first album was better , with just the trio , and a stronger acoustic guitar presence . After that , the search was on , across a dozen albums , for the special magic that the first album had . After COMES A TIME by Neil , I think the vibe actually evaporated , never to be captured again .
Totally cool! Thanks.
@7theflyingdutchman
I am sure that it's Dallas Taylor, the drummer of csn(y) at that time.
wow, I wasn't aware nash took to LA so fast. but at a tears for fears concert a few years ago in LA, roland said most of the band lived in cali and at a def lepperd concert, joe elliott said most of them lived in cali. and even though George Harrison had his famous house and garden in London, when he joined the traveling wilburys, jeff lynne and tom petty were his neighbors in Malibu.
CSN are one of my favorite contacts here on Planet Earth ty ty ty
I love this!
i was half expecting crosby to smash a watermelon with a sledge-o-matic
The absolute best
great so great.......grandi wow grandi.
Crosby is funny lmao he could’ve dabbled in stand up comedy I think. He’s got charisma and energy
David Crosby, being honest about the desired Target.... "Joni " on the ride up the mountain. I think Graham Nash had her interest that day.... the house ? GONE !
I notice that the same kind of paper was used on the album cover for Crosby & Nash's Whistling Down the Wire.
H. Diltz is a great & lucky photographer hell yes
he's also one the best singers in rock n roll history. so it doesn't matter...
Why'd they remove Dallas T from the door when they issued the CD?
I just got the nicest original first pressing of this classic! Even nicer than the copy they're holding up for an example! (Mine doesn't have that Gold Record award sticker....why did they stick those things on the cover anyways....record company b.s. I suppose). My copy is a pressing from Monarch Record Mfg. that was in Los Angeles. If you want to find a Monarch, then just look at the matrix number in parenthesis on the bottom of the record label. If it ends with "-MO" then you have a Monarch pressing. Awesome sound quality on Monarchs.
My copy doesn't have that award sticker on it either. I hope you kept the page with the lyrics that came with your record.
❤
First album is best!
Graham will always love Joni. His new wife looks exactly like Joni!!! Check it out....Amy Grantham.
I often wondered why Willie and Joni didn't stay together. Too bad. They looked like the perfect couple.
/nice to know/ got this record (canadian-pressing)/
What’s this Documentary Called?
5:34 Crosby is savage, faking a southern accent.
Looking for this one??
1989-"That Girl"
Since you always hear these guys voices together I wonder what they sound like individually , with exception to Neil Young
( We all know what Neil sounds like )
Well... THERE'S TONS OF STUFF AVAILABLE ON CZcams!!! Start with Roll Tape.

Ищу СSNY 1967 recording saund !
Who is behind the door?
I came here to see Steven - disappointed - again.
In some pics Jonni looks like a plain Jane,
Since the house was gone anyway, why not just flip the photo to put names in the right order?
That would put the guitar facing the left-handed direction.
Why did joni and gram break up
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
so many details and no word at all about Dallas Taylor, whom can be seen in the cover (behind the glass door). That is lack of class by all of them
They are jerks to a man, some worse than others
Blame the editor. They might have spoken about Dallas, but for reasons we’ll never know, those details didn’t make the cut. I mean do you think this 7 minutes is all each of them has to say about this album and time? Of course not. “Lack of class” is quite assumptive and unfair.
Joni was screwing everybody.
Lazarus Agrapides the nerve of her!
Yeh, why should the guys only have all the fun! Were there any male groupies back then? What a great job that would have been.
Hey, she was attractive enough to have dudes want to screw her, more power to her 😜
@@712dal She was also a great musician and songwriter w more money than they at the time. She had alot more than looks
Heres the full california rock thing... czcams.com/video/7OcJYCMTAio/video.html
Joni Mitchell looks like the Taylor Swift of her day even resembles her a lil bit
Fools, just flip the negative and everyone is in the desired order. See what pot does to you?
And turn Stills into a left handed guitar player. Right......... pretty foolish
And what do you think that would have done to the guitar?
Nothing like plotting a second by second timeline of an irrelevant place from an irrelevant band.
And yet... here you are. Commenting, even. Wow. Why waste your time on irrelevancies?
Because someone has to point these things out to a bunch of lemmings.
'Willy' is my fave Joni song
