This is exactly the way almost everything should be built unless specialized by the owners. As an engineer myself every project i ever do i try to implement as much modular components as possible , even if it means compromising on the budget. Going over budget on design and construction can save money years from now when the parts can still be machined in batches and stored until needed , versus having dozens of one off spare components in the store rooms for emergency break downs.

I’m a regular dude from KY and to see you doing your absolute best building these cars and taking on the social media side of things as CEO/designer/driver/enthusiast is so inspiring. Talking us through all of what you are doing along with learning all while doing it yourself, it’s just amazing. I really hope I can make it out to the UTV World Championship to see you all there. Long time fan and have been saving since day one of hearing about your journey to make my purchase happen. Well done Robbie and team, unreal. I hope the east coast can get some events use of your car, hope I can make one event happen even!! Good luck

I like the idea of the tune down key option so kids and less experienced drivers can drive at safer speeds. Glad Robby is considering the option.

would be interesting concept to design for having two batteries with a manual disconnect between the two. maybe downsize the batteries and run Lithium to save weight. one battery dies and you can manually switch over to the second. also would be good because it would make it nearly impossible to kill the car beyond being able to start it unless you were completely ignorant and killed 2 batteries by flipping the switch and also draining the second. Or maybe build in a program to the ECU that does not allow the battery to be drained with the engine off without reserving enough to restart the vehicle. Another feature that would be interesting to explore , giving the vehicle the ability to be bump started by another vehicle.

Dalton Michaels Might save you more weight if you Have a high cap battery jumper and just plug it into the cigarette lighter.

@@pyrocoyote1922 thats true. and i wouldnt even necessarily opt for these things myself. I carry an Anti Gravity Battery Jumper pack. So small it fits in the rear Cowl of my Yamaha R6 , but powerful enough to jump my Duramax.
