- This is just for fun. I used my phone to record the sounds of the Wrigley Field Lowrey organ played by Gary Pressy before the game on May 12th. Since it was chilly weather conditions, I was trying to save my phone battery life and tucked it in my inner coat pocket. So that's why the sound is a bit muffled.
There was no batting practice before this game, so that's why you don't hear any baseball noises coming from the field, and that's what made it easier for me to walk around the park and record the organ instead of sitting in the bleachers for two hours with no batting practice.
The main reason why I am posting this, is for the people who don't get the opportunity visit Wrigley Field very often due to long distance travel situations.
I do plan on recording more of the organ music as the season goes along. Especially when the weather warms up and I can get better quality sound.

Sounds from heaven
Gary Pressy and the Lowrey organ are two of the reasons I go to see the Cubbies annually. Without a doubt, this is the best in-game experience in pro sports.
I have been to Wrigley Field a number of times, and I have always enjoyed the parts before the game of walking around the ballpark and listening to Gary Pressy and the Lowrey Organ. Thanks for posting!
Me too, I’ve been to 16 Cubs games in my whole life, I really love Wrigley Field, I’m a diehard cubs fan, I went to 1 game which it was my first game in 2014, 3 in 2015, 6 in 2016, 3 in 2017 and 3 this year 2018, I’m looking forward to go to more cubs games next year

Does anyone know what song they play when the game gets delayed suddenly and the crew is putting the tarp on the field? It's sick, I've rewound a couple times when its heard on the TV broadcast, but can't find it on yt or know the name of the song obviously

I’m happy that someone carried on the tradition once Gary retired, but I’d dunno the organ just doesn’t sound the same.
I'm glad someone else notices! Yes, John and Josh (The two Organists) have their own presets that they like for the organ. John wanted to bring something new to the table, but keep the same feeling. And since they got a new version of the organ this year, it may sound a little different from the Legacy! Just to let you know, it's still possible to bring back Gary's preset.
@@cecny I’m not even a Cubs fan, I’m a Jays fan. But this is in the case if I ever wanted to see a game there. I would love to have as authentic of an experience as possible
