    sir kenny dalglish attended all 96 funerals after the Disaster. I’m not sure anyone connected to the club could have given more the club the victims, and their families. True gentleman.

    The King is one of the few people deserving of the title “legend”
    His decency transcends rivalries no matter how important they may seem
    And that is before you consider how good a player he was,

    Although they would have obviously wanted to win the championship, the FA cup was the one they had to win. That was the competition they were playing in when their fans were killed by police incompetence.
