CHICKEN PARMESAN SANDWICHES
INGREDIENTS:
* Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
* AP flour
* Large eggs
* Panko breadcrumbs
* Kosher salt
* Black pepper
* Olive oil
* Tomato sauce (store-bought or homemade)
* Grated parmesan
* Sliced provolone
* Baguettes
STEPS:
1. Put chicken breasts between 2 pieces of parchment and pound down with a mallet until about ¼” thick.
2. In separate bowls, set up a dredging station:
* Flour in one bowl
* Beaten eggs in one bowl
* Panko breadcrumbs in one bowl
3. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
4. Dip chicken into flour, then eggs, and finally coat with panko; set aside.
5. Repeat until all the chicken is coated.
6. Heat oil in large skillet; fry chicken in batches, turning halfway until golden brown.
7. Transfer to a paper-towel lined plate to drain excess oil.
8. Slice open baguettes and place on baking tray.
9. Layer chicken on bottom slice, then sliced provolone.
10. Bake at 350° until the cheese is melted on top
11. Ladle pre-heated tomato sauce on top
12. Top with bread and slice in half. - Komedie

I watched Nick bomb so bad in 2019. Most of the audience walked out before the end of his “set”. I’m definitely not a liberal, and most of the crowd was older conservatives, but it was an hour of bashing Hillary and Dems. It was really funny for about the first 15. But, even I was thinking; “Did Nick not prepare any material?”. He saw the crowd’s reactions and doubled down hard. It was tumble weeds and crickets by the end. I had to apologize for the next week, seeing as I invited most of the right stage front row.

Colin Quinn is the #1 reason i have never tried comedy. I'm a huge fan, I loved his shows, but when I was in afghanistan he came to our base and tried a set, he bombed so hard. it lasted like 8 minutes and was the most awkward thing I have ever experienced. If a guy with that much work into comedy could die onstage infront of 500 guys that would laugh at anything, I figured I have no shot. basically im a coward.
One time I and my cousin were at my grandfathers funeral and it a closed casket until they opened the casket to put in a sixpack of beer, as you do. Everybody goes silent because everyone is seeing the body and I lean over to my cousin's ear and whisper "yall wanna see a dead body." I got him to hysterically laugh during a funeral.
I did another one at a speech from a guy with a southern black accent talking about living during segregation. About 45 minutes into his talk he says "and this man walks up to me and guess what he said." I leaned over to my friends ear and said "Imma need about tree fiddy." He laughed so hard he started to cry. His friends all thought he was crazy.

I love how, even though they barely hit on it...that Patrice O'Neal was a piece of shit. He was intelligent, one of the funniest comedians alive, but a total asshole to most people...because he hated himself and took it out on others.
