I am the first person in my family born in america.. I am also the only one of my siblings who never learned my native tongue... I also have only tried 3 of these dishes before in my life..... I truly feel like i've done myself a disservice,... I feel out of touch with ; what should have been, my culture... I am going to head to moms house and ask her to make me these.
Or learn to cook them 😉 my parents are Filipinos but i was born and raised in another country. I also don't speak Filipino nor have Filipino friends (i don't have friends in general because my parents are controlling af) but I love Philippines cuisine
Guyysssss it's finally hereee😍🥰 czcams.com/users/shortsyzrirDLoUIM?feature=share ..
It's never to late to learn

So many more than adobo. Do you cook adobo? The CZcams has so many videos on Pinoy recipes. And many more ingredients can be available anywhere too. It's personally enriching learning another culture's cooking...enjoy Learning Filipino or Pinoy cooking. ❤

The list is spot on. There are some few that were missed though.
Snubbed: Dinuguan, Crispy Pata
Honorable Mention: Paksiw, Pinapaitan, Pinakbet
How is this spot on? Did he actually conduct a survey, or just make up this list? Tinola in the north is not even tinola in the south?
Sisig
I can only eat Tinola when family makes it but it's amazing.
Also prefer Nilaga to Bulalo but both still good
I love philipene foods.
Delicious
True adobo is pretty much the Philippines national dish :-)
Popular foods you missed:
Paksiw, Bicol Express, Pancit, Chopsuey, Pinakbet, Dinuguan, Crispy Pata, Menudo, Bagnet, Calamares, Paella, and my most fave... Sinaing na Tulingan sa Kamias from Batangas. How to cook all those foods? It's in CZcams. 🤣
Those sound good I don't see any fried rice variations or chopsuey would be good !!!
Lovely, thanks for the additional dishes!
My fav too sinaing na tulingan with 3 cups of rice

My favorite food is lechon kawalii :) its so yummy
Im korean :)
it's interesting.
Kamusta from India 🤗 I was searching to get knowledge about what food is famous in Philippines.. this video was informative and good...still can it be more detail one please? Also a food tour about street food of ph? Well if possible please make more videos on food or traditional food and their history. thanks for video😊🙌
I think some from Mindanao or Visaya might argue that your list is too Luzon based. No Bicol express for example.
The most obvious dish missing from your list is that there was no pancit. Palabok, Bihon or Gusisado. Given that Palabok is served in all Jollibee's perhaps it needs to be in the top 10.
Arroz Caldo is another very popular dish that could make a lot of top 10 lists.
Filipino style spaghetti would make my top 10 favorites. I love that.
Nice channel. Kuya Mitch.
Sarap nyan

Watching this video I notice that many of the recipe ware just very a like to hispanics cuasine(Caribbean,
Central America, South America) with a little twist. I can totally see the resembles & bond we share through out our gastronomy.
Lechon is a Spanish word tho, Also lechón y a tradional food in
Puerto Rico mostly prepare on holiday christmas season.
We’ll great now I’m hungry! 😂
Wow. I love your voice and course the content. ❤
I really appreciate that! sorry for my bad English though.

Sinigang love
Please blog Chibugan ng Bayan it’s all about Tapsihan …
Bulalo I like 😍
Sisig 😍
I like adobo. Whatever kind of adobo is yummy, adobong kangkong, sitaw, pusit, chicken hehehe. Kaldereta is the best though.
I love jollibee ❤
I’m shocked pancit isn’t on here
I am only 25% filipino and have only had, lumpia, adobo, ensaymadas, pansit and pancet, but I want to try so much more!
Sinigang #1
Karekare is my fvorite
Cheers, then!
The most delicious and most nutritious Filipino recioe for me is Tinola and Kaldereta .
These dishes have lots of Vegetables and herbs and you can put all the vegetables you like in Tinola to make it more appetizing delicious and full of vitamins ..
In Kakdereta you will sure love the sauce made from 🍅 tomatoes sauce / paste and liver paste and lots of capsicum and olives .
Another very delicious and very nutritious dish to try is the Kare Kare ..
It's a varieties of vegetable with proteins from beef or pork ..
You can make fish vegetable kare kare too
But all dishes that you mention are All Hearty Foods that everybody can love ❤️
Favorite ng nanay ko young sisig
Taga Angeles ka lods saan dito heheh
masarap
Philippines Food is delicious❤
I'm pure Filipino but my no.1 is "Paksiw" the most common among average and lower income Pinoy
Pancit? Probably the single most popular dish.
I’m half native (canada) and half Filipino
I like Philippino food!
Hi kuya adriel
What about fish and seafoods??
Sinigang na hipon and adobong pusit..
Instead of tokwa't baboy, I prefer to recommend " pinakbet or chop suey ". This two dishes is more popular than tokwa't baboy dish ..
At least adobo is indigenous in the Philippines.... Pigafetta, Magellan's chronicler, wrote in his journal that when they reached the island of Cebu the natives offered them a dish marinated in vinegar and soy sauce.... For lack of a name or a word to call it, pigafetta called the dish adobo.... In Spanish, to marinate means adobar.... Thus, adobo...
All those dishes look like I now must strive to try them, sooner rather than later. I hope Filipino food keeps a low profile. It seems an undiscovered gem, much like an secret empty tropical beach, and I'd hate to see a US based chain start to serve some of your dishes, American Style. That would mean, low quality re-constituted ingredients with preservatives and too high a price. That would take the soul out of the Philippine cuisine, if it ever caught on.
The only thing I didn't like is the "special effects". It takes away from the food and slightly reminds me what everything looked like that one time I got food poisoning. ;)
Oh my 🤤🤤🤤🤤 this video is giving me stomache my Stomach is growling right now
I wanna eat it so bad hahaah🤣🤣🤣🤣
I Want To Try Eating Filipino
You forgot, bicol express, diniguan, menudo, pancit, an arroz caldo,
Ano poba englih sa sinigang sir
Adobo at Sinigang
I like manudo
Adobo and sinegang also sisig
I’m very curious to try Filipino food for the first time. I am Latino. The adobo, lechon and sinegang sound like things I might like. I don’t know about the stuff that has the liver. I’ve never been able to eat liver. It’s one of my least favorite foods ever. Does anybody have a good recommendation for the thing I should try first?
Try adobo pork or chicken cant go wrong with any of them
Pork Sinigang or Fish Sinigang is very easy to prepare.
one of the Top Dish is missing and it is always present in parties most specially in Fiestas. it is MENUDO!
Lechonnnnn
laing, kinunot and cansi I like which are not included in the list

Hi! Permission to use some clips for my project. I'll promise to give proper credits. Thank you so much!
Sure. Go ahead :) Don't forget to share ;)
What about Dinuguan?
Letchon is always present in all occasions. No celebration is complete without letchon. But I can't eat letchon because I'm a jew.
Why you never include PINAKBET pure of vagetable
Dinaguan!
My gf’s sinigang is the best
Rice rice rice rice You missed rice
Lechone originated by Spanish arrival
Kaldereta is originally made with goat meat or kambing thus the name kaldereta.
Iam Pilipino
PINAKBET!
